Excelent soil conditioner
Used as a soil conditioner for heavy clay soil as a cheap way of filling greenhouse planters.They soak up warm water well but we wanted to use them to dry the very wet soil so it would go through a sieve, trying to break them up dry by hand was impossible. We ended up using a cement mixer, soil & blocks together. Took a while but the results look great. We also bought a large block (Coco & Coir brand) with fertilizer added. The 'fertilizer' was little green balls very unevenly distributed, look terrible & the block was very dusty & impossible to work with. The big block went onto the compost heap, these little blocks are much better quality & cheaper
