Good product work's well for me

Worked well for me personally, sleeping soundly every night when taken 1/2hr before bed, grape flavour is very good too

Bought for my daughter, she said they were very good

Had high hopes for this magnesium glycinate, but it didn’t work well for me. I didn’t notice much improvement in sleep or relaxation, and it sometimes caused mild stomach discomfort. The capsules are easy enough to take, but overall the results were underwhelming. Might work for others, but I wouldn’t repurchase.

Helping me to relax and sleep

So as I sit here at 3am with the taste of one of the aniseed-flavoured antacid liquids on my lips I felt these capsules needed a review before I return them. Firstly they are only 72mg of elemental Magnesium - yes that's stated on the package but not explained - if you want to achieve the RDA you'll need to take 4 a day (for a man). Next is the rather unpleasant taste in my mouth that started about an hour after taking the first 2 capsules (1 hour before bedtime, with food). Almost metallic, slightly foosty - just an unpleasant smell/taste in the back of my throat. Finally as the start of this review hinted at, the raging reflux that woke me up and that I'm currently suffering 5hrs after taking them. I even slept slightly propped-up but to no avail. I guess you could suggest it's a coincidence but I will definitely not be trying them again to find out, they are going back. I'm off to go find a more trusted brand with a decent dose and preparation.

Product is as expected
