Plug and play
I found this easy to use. No drivers needed. Plug it into a USB port and whatever card you swipe - the data is "typed in". For a simple demo, open a new text document, swipe a card the the card data is inserted into the document. I tested this on a MacBook, but it should work for any gadget that lets you plug in a USB keyboard.
