For educational and entertainment only?
So here is the real deal. This is a lottery ticket type item. Low electricity cost for an exceptionally low chance at finding a block. What is a block? Simply put, it is a chance at winning ~3 bitcoin before fees. So how bad are the odds? Well this runs at about 1-1.2 TH/s. Global Speed as of writing this is close to 800 EH/s. Huh? What's that mean? Well it means that to match the global speed, you'd need ~800 million of these. Those numbers just continually get worse. Every single day massive farms are adding huge amounts of hardware that truly make your chances of finding a block almost zero. But hey. Almost zero isn't zero. There is a chance and just like with powerball or mega million you don't buy a ticket because you think you will win. You almost certainly won't. You buy it for the dream. You buy it so you can imagine how you'd spend it. This is like that only at a much smaller scale since the potential reward is so much lower. This also has the added benefit of being very educational. From setting up a wallet, exchange account, to configuring the miner and learning about pools, it will give you a nice crash course in crypto. I bought 2 for myself and 1 for a gift. I enjoy it a lot. It's a wonderful little toy for the aspiring or hobby miner.

Easy to set up and runs like a charm!
Received this miner quickly and is exactly what is pictured. Took me minutes to set up and run. The instructions walk you through set up in detail and are easy to understand and follow. Also easy to connect a wallet to it. It’s pretty quiet and hasn’t overheated at all. I’ve been running it for a month now with no issues. It’s luck of the draw now making any bitcoins from mining but at least it is worth a shot.

Garbage
First powered on and the LED did not work. No biggie . As instructions said , pulled screen out and spread the outside two pins. Got it going. Connected to an established wallet per instructions and it pulled 80 Gh during mining , ....far below the advertised 1.2 Th. Within an hour the overheating ! on screen was displayed. Despite being in a 28 F garage .Upgraded the device software thinking that was the issue. Miner came back online and will not mine at all. 0 hash rate . For all I know it just wants access to your wifi and wallet address to hack whatever it can, and if anything is awry , authorities will be contacted.I do work for the government. Returning.

My first!
Product came in and instructions were easy to follow. Any issues I had were because this was my first time setting a miner up.

Runs like a champ! The Bitaxe Supra (401)
I purchased the Supra from here (Solosatoshi via Amazon) on 14SEP24. It's now been running for 6 months without any issues. I did make some upgrades, if you would consider them upgrades. After a few months, I decided to swap out the stock cooling system (yellow anodized heatsink and fan). The stock cooling was just fine for the Supra, but I wanted to overclock it and heat is always bad for performance and longevity of your equipment.I installed a 52pi ICE-Tower Cooler (for Raspberry Pi 5) and I used Arctic MX-6 thermal paste.Over some of the hot spots on the board, I tacked on some GeeekPi 18PCS Pure Copper Heatsinks (for Raspberry Pi 5/4B).I also stopped using the provided power supply (very limiting, can't overclock), and got a ALITOVE 5V 60A 300W Power Supply. With these "upgrades", I have been running the Bitaxe Supra at 784 Mhz with Input Voltage at 1.333 VDC, which sets the "Expected" hash rate at 1.0 TH/s (1,000 GH/s).Efficiency runs at about 24.6 J/TH (Watts), give or take, with ASIC Temp at 49°C or cooler.Lastly, I didn't mind the extra noise of the stock fan running at 100%, so I swapped that one back onto the 52pi ICE-Tower Cooler (in lieu of the ICE Tower provided fan). The highest Difficulty this unit has hit is 2.19G, so far...maybe someday 112.15T :^)

It’s working
I had difficulty, at first, because the screen did not seem to work. I’m not techno-savvy, so, I basically didn’t know what I was doing. However, a friend helped me through the process off getting the screen to work, then getting into the program itself. I’m now happy with it. If it wasn’t for my friend, I was thinking of returning it.
