This works very well for a m.2 NVME stick.
I've bought two of these. I have one with a 480GB capacity and one 1TB capacity. Both of them work really well. I like the little LED that indicates power and activity, solid on for power, blinking for activity. I did have to add a additional thermal pad to make the thermal contact from the stick to the cover. I guess some sticks may be thinner than others. One of my sticks is Crucial and the other is a Samsung. I added the same extra pad to both. I think I had to add a 0.5mm thick one. It closes just right. With that, the chips run very cool even when copying large amounts of data for a extended period of time. The enclosure dissipates heat really well. This enclosure has a lot of good things about it. I like the LED, the way it closes and opens, the speed and just the ease of putting a stick in it. Also, the little ball that keeps it closed, it works very well. You have to pull on it a bit to open it. I've yet to have mine open without me pulling on it. It closes tight and stays closed despite me putting a little extra thermal pad inside. This also comes with a neat cable. It has a type C on one end for the enclosure and another type C with a attached adapter to type A in case you don't have a type C to connect with on the computer end. Sometimes it is annoying but I have to use the adapter on some older systems with only type A USB connectors. If you want a small but well made m.2 enclosure, this is a good one. I can't think of anything that would improve it. It just works so well.

No tools needed, works great
An M.2 NVMe SSD enclosure for for M & M+B. The connection side is USB 3.2 via USB-C. It comes with a heat absorbing pad, an adapter plug for sub sized SSDs, and a short USB-C to C cable with a USB-C to A adapter. The case hinges open with a thumbnail latch. The SSD has a snap-in holder, no screws. It's quick and easy and was instantly recognized as a storage drive on two different PCs. It made of rigid plastic and metal and seems very durable.

Does the job on my 512GB SSD
Great product. Liked that it had both USB B and USB C connectors making it easy to transfer to different platforms. Loaded with a Micron 512GB SSD and did a complete clone of my laptop with no issues. Never even got warm! Would highly recommend. May even buy another as they are really compact.

Light speed drive cloning
This is a nice product. Great for cloning your drive and upgrading your storage without any loss. I would have gave it 5 stars but it go super hot and I needed to use a fan on it just to help my worries. Everything worked just fine.

Great Design and Fast
I have many NVME enclosures from more well-known brands like Sabrent, SSK, Orico, etc. I'd never heard of FIDECO but given the price I figured it would be worth a risk of a few dollars if it lived up to the positive reviews I read. My experience has been 100% positive. It is just as fast as my other equivalent speed/generation enclosures and the way it opens and mounts the drive is just better. Under large data writes, the enclosure does get pretty warm but that just means its doing its job of soaking up the heat of the drive and dissipating it to the environment around it. I see a lot of reviews for these type of enclosures where folks seem to incorrectly associate a cool-to-touch enclosure with good heat management. In most cases, that isn't a good thing. These enclosures are metal for the purpose of spreading heat from a small contact area to a larger surface. In the case where there are no cooling fins, this heat dissipation is accomplished by a simple, larger surface area which must be warm/hot if it's doing its job. I do have some drive enclosures with fins and fans and those are cool to the touch, as they should be. This FIDECO is passive cooling over a simple surface area and it should be warm. Testing a drive in this enclosure with 5 minutes of benchmarking, it showed no sign of slowing down due to thermal protection. Proof positive the case is sufficiently keeping the NVME drive cool.My initial concern was how well the tool-less drive door stayed closed. The ball detent that holds the cover closed is indeed tight and secure and I don't see any reasonable situation that would cause it to unintentionally open. The mounting clip that holds down the end of the NVME drive is very secure and simple to use. The all-metal housing is well made, compact, and looks way nicer than the price I paid. Well done, FIDECO for making such a good little enclosure with that clever tool-less design.

Nice little case
I was looking for an M2 case for an extra Hd I had laying around. The fact that this case is simple to use and at a great price sold me on this unit. It has a heat transfer pad included which aids in keeping your M2 cool. Nice quality build that requires no tools is a big part of the compact easy use case. Nice design with an LED indicator light to indicate connection to your device. It comes with a USB C port and a nice cable that has USB C and an adapter to USB A so it’s compatible with nearly all devices.
