This is a review that will focus more on the qualitative aspects of the protein itself - it's usefulness and it's overall quality. There is nutritional information about this protein is in the picture above - that gives a great idea of Monster Mass's potential. However, the user of this product is to determine whether each protein source is sufficiently utilized. These are the best features about this protein: 1. Multipurpose - great for a breakfast shake, pre and post-work shake. It's even great to take before bed when gaining. Take it anytime. 2. Half-serving - consists of two large scoops and is surprisingly satisfying. Not all people can absorb a full-serving in one sitting, try a half your first time. 3. Mixes very well - without a whisk, add two ice cubes to add some more collisions in any shaker bottle and this will blend smoothly. 4. Tastes great - Have taken a lot of gainers and this has a good, consistent taste. Not perfect, but very drinkable. 5. No foam - liquid settles nicely at the top and doesn't have many bubbles, very important for comfortable digestion. *Great price - prices are flexible so this is an *extra* feature, but for now its price can't be beat. Really enjoyed taking this protein and would recommend it to anyone trying to drink this for any one of it's uses.

I have been using this product for about 5 months, it has helped me maintain my body mass as well as gaining a few pounds. It helped me to gain strength and energy throughout my workout. I usually take 2 scoops before and 2 scoops after my workout. You can also drink it with meals if possible. Taste: It tastes great with just water but unbeleivably better when you use it with milk. I blend one scoop with one egg, some oats, 2 bananas from time to time to give some variety in use. Summary: This is an overall great product to purchase, not expensive, good on calories and protein content. Though the big container finishes rather quickly so I recommend ordering 2 containers at a time.

"Great tasting" would be an overstatement. Initially I was put off by the taste, which was too cloying. Eventually I hit on three ways to make the drink taste pretty good: 1) I mix it with unsweetened soy milk and water, half and half. 2) I put 3 level scoops in 20 oz. of fluid. The directions specify 4 scoops per 16-20 oz. 3) I store it in a glass bottle in the refrigerator. It tastes better chilled. I drink about 20 oz per 2 days. I eat three normal meals a day and use the drink for desert or as a snack. In one month I gained about three pounds, which is quite remarkable. Best of all, now I like the taste.

I usually use Monster Milk, and this is not the same. It's not nearly as good... taste wise. As for ingredients, it packs a punch, and I'm sure is a better replacement for the Monster Milk. Also, much cheaper per serving even though this requires 4 scoops per 18 oz of water, and the Milk was 2. Even still, the 2 scoops of Milk made a much thicker, tastier shake.

First off, the price is amazing, i ordered 2 tubs, basically 12 lbs of carbs and protein for $40. thats 1800 grams of protein....OMG.....Never seen a better deal. I also happen to love the 1.2/1 ratio of carbs to protein. Awesome for gaining muscle with lil risk of putting on fat. LOVE THIS PRODUCT AND PRICE. i would gladly pay twice the price for the quality of weight gainer..if not more....

I do not know if it works, but I do know that it tastes disgusting. Bought a blender bottle for this to go along with, but after one time, i never used it again. The first time, i forced myself to chug it down, because im a skinny guy, who needs to bulk up. This tastes nasty.

When I was drinking two scoops of this a day, my heart felt like it was pounding in my chest sometimes. I did, however, gain 5lbs extra mass and it tastes OK.

Cytosport monster mass definitely helps those people who find it hard to put on muscle mass. You still need to eat a lot while you take this protein shake otherwise you would just be barely maintaining what you already had. No miracles here all hard work at the gym and eating enough beyond your average intake to make solid gains. Might buy whey protein again later to have a more pumped up work out since it's fast acting. But I digress... I recommend this product.
