Definitely get the bigger PE version over the smaller one
I'd previously reviewed the smaller SE version which despite the listing saying would be a better fit for our 12kg cockapoo I thought was a little small/underwhelming. The bigger PE version however is a completely different toy!Whilst I wouldn't recommend the smaller ball (unless you have a sub 8kg dog) I would recommend the bigger one if you're looking for something to keep your dog occupied for hours. It's now our dogs favourite toy and even when the battery runs out you'll find him carrying it around the house. The bigger one obviously has more weight to it and perhaps has a stronger motor inside so it travels much further on our wooden floor on it's own, it's quite funny watching it vibrating before rolling itself to the other side of the room with force - but it does make a bit of noise on the wooden flooring! The battery could perhaps be a bit longer lasting but it's easy enough to charge, I just need to remember to turn it off occasionally throughout the day when he has it rather than leaving it fully on all the time.It is still quite expensive but as long as it lasts (and it seems to be pretty sturdy so far) it's not too bad. We've certainly spent money on toys in the past that haven't lasted the day.

Hilarious play time
Me and my partner have been in stitches laughing at our boy playing with his new ball ever since it arrived. The ball has a number of different settings from a gentle play to more boisterous. When you turn it on you can feel something inside moving around but the outer green case doesn't move so it is safe for your dog to hold in his mouth while it vibrates. My boy has loved his tennis balls ever since he was a puppy. He would spend ages staring at his ball just daring it to move so we thought a moving ball would be perfect for him. He thinks he's a big tough guy but in reality, he's a scaredy pants, and watching him play with this ball has been hilarious for us.When we first turned the ball on and it started moving, my boy jumped immediately into my lap and stared at it with wonder. Now he's got more confident in playing with the ball and wags his tail and chases it. He's still a bit cautious when we put it into full Tonto mode! Our boy is not much of a chewer but the outer casing seems pretty solid so should stand up to a bit of chewing and mouthing. The ball works best on a smooth surface. It is a bit on the pricey side but it saves your arm from falling off from having to keep throwing tennis balls for your dog!

Wish it was sturdier
This product works exactly as intended with multiple modes of play to suit the more nervous dogs to more excitable ranging from slow actioned movements to bouncing and rolling around! Charging is easy with the cable provided and I have easily got around a weeks worth of on off supervised play on the battery power. I have tested this on both laminate and carpet and this is DEFINITELY a more laminate toy so if you have carpet expect it to not work nearly as well. I have a staffordshire bull terrier and from around 20mins of play there are already teeth punctures so the outer rubber is definitely not suited for more powerful jaws. For the performance drop off on shallow carpet and the fact it's not as durable as I thought i have dropped a star

Great for active dogs
This interactive dog ball keeps my dog entertained for hours. It’s lightweight, bounces around, and the LED lights grab my dog’s attention immediately. The three modes allow me to adjust the activity level to match my dog’s energy. The material is durable yet soft, ensuring my dog can safely play without damaging the toy. It’s an excellent way to keep pets active, especially when I need a break.

Good fun but limited
My Italian Greyhound puppy enjoys playing with this. He's 7 months old and his mouth is just about big enough to fit round the larger size. He seems to like it when it shakes and it winds him up! He only really plays with it for 5 or 10 minutes though, so I can't exactly recommend it as a way of keeping dogs entertained for long periods. It is quite heavy, so if you have it in rolling mode you need to be aware of things that it can bang into. Things like vases on wobbly tables could spell disaster! It doesn't work very well on our artificial grass, or if it puts it down on a blanket. It doesn't have much oomph to overcome any slight resistance. That seems to be when he gives up on it.Easy to charge and battery seems to last well.
