Jigs
They seem to be ok other than that the magnet is nonexistent it’s absolutely no help at all..

Works well, but description is confusing
This did the job fine. But the description talks about a magnetic base that 'locks in' and included, auto marking pencil. Unless I'm missing something, those weren't included. There is a magnet on the jig that might help hold the saw to the jig. But it doesn't lock anything in.

accurate angles
I am as easy to hook on a "name brand" as anyone but I'm also not rich. I compare these to the Veritas jigs and they both do the same thing. I get the angles I need, I can use them to start my saw cuts, and that is all I ask out of a dovetail jig.

Gets the job done
I found these to be helpful in creating simple dovetails. I had previously purchased the Katz-Moses dovetail jig and loved it but wanted to test out some others to see how well they worked mainly because I enjoy tools as much as I do woodworking. I found these to work just as well. They are accurate, sturdy, and the finished product was nice. I did not find much purpose to the magnets but a small clamp did the trick.

Poorly engineered
Was excited to order a set of jigs that looked like a steal compared to similar items on Amazon and elsewhere. However, got disappointed after the first use. Three major flaws. First, the magnet is very weak and barely engages with the saw. Second, the metal frame and the plastic pad are misaligned (see photo) making it useless for marking and creating potentially causing the saw to tilt (since magnets are weak) and cut into the metal frame (see photo). Third, the jig is big, slightly smaller than the width of all my dozuki saws - limiting how deeply your saw can cut into the wood before the back of the saw hits the jig. The jig is clearly very poorly engineered. Will be returning.

Good For Repeatable Cuts
I should've used my dovetail or coping saw instead of my pull saw for testing. Because of the spine on my pull saw, I ended up nicking the guide/jig I was testing. These are a good set of jigs that are very easy to use. The Teflon like ends make a saw glide smoothly while cutting. The jigs are clearly marked with the angle and pin/tail markings to make it simple to place and setup. If you don't want to hold the jig in place while cutting, there is room to attach a clamp to hold it to your stock. The aluminum material may become gouged if you are not careful. Fortunately the nick Unmanaged with my pull saw was just on the surface and won't affect the accuracy.Of the different jigs, guides, and templates I have used, this is absolutely one of the easiest to use. If you are looking for a good 1:6 and/or 1:8 dovetail jig, I would highly recommend this one.
