great pump and filter combo for my 60 gal.

Was wary at first
I almost passed this one up because of the inexpensive price. Pumps a lot of water. I like the air controller. Filter is easy to clean. Don’t let the cheap price fool you. Very good quality and works just fine.

No Instructions
No instructions, which is frustrating. Seems to be working as it should. Time will tell.

It’s been a long time since I’ve set up an aquarium. This did not come with directions and they may have been helpful depending on how well they are executed.This came with some adapters and air tubing.According to the description this can be used horizontally or vertically.I decided to install mine horizontally. The upper portion has suction cups and lays flat on the bottom of my tank.The portion with the suction cups is actually a holder. It can remain suctioned to the tank and you can slide the whole filter off but it’s way easier just to put my fingernail under the suction cups and pull the entire thing out.This doesn’t come with 3 types of filtration. You get 2 black bio filters pre installed. I will be getting more filters.The water in my tank turned cloudy after starting this up. I did rinse it well before use.I will have to see if it clears up and monitor the water for a while.If my opinion changes, I’ll update this review.

very good pump!!
I originally purchased this pump as a back up in case my current pump ever dies out, but i put this in shortly after it's arrival lol, and im so glad i did! Such a great pump and very strong!
