Very handy, just the perfect size for washing salads and fruit

Have recently injured my shoulders, but this has taken the hard work out of preparing salad, nice size, used every day.

Works well but lid sometimes difficult to keep in place

This is a very traditional device which you fill find useful if you are regularly needing to washing vegetables, salads and herbs. It is only about 20 cm across so you are looking at washing half a large lettuce or a standard packet of salad at one go. To use you simply place your items in the drum, fasten the click lock and then pump the lever to create sufficient rotation before allowing to spin dry. Most importantly, it does work and will leave your food dry and ready to use immediately. The downside? The device is left wet and doesn't come completely apart so when you wash it you need to leave it for a considerable time to dry which may lead the lazier among us to think it is not quite worth the effort. For the rest, this remains a useful kitchen tool which given its size can sit on a worktop without taking up too much space.

Excellent for small amounts. I particularly like the non-slip feet to anchor it down when spinning, removing the need to put it on a damp cloth first.

My old spinner had a pul cord which was awkward and got dirty and grey. This uses a neat flat handle which you press down repeatedly. Its a great size, big enough for a bag of salad but doesnt take a whole cupboard to store.

This is good sized salad spinner, with enough room for a bagged salad. It is of a very sturdy construction with a nice clear bowl that can be used as a salad server if you wish. The spin operation is very easy and simple, pushing down a handle on the top rather than turning a handle, which my ageing mum found a lot easier. Salad spinners are quite expensive in general but this one is very good value.

This is first time I have owned a salad spinner.Having used it for the first time today I have to say it is pretty good.I seperated my leaves of iceberg lettuce,washed them once under the tap and then rinsed them collectively in the colander,then spun them in the salad spinner to help dry and remove excess water.The product functions easily,with just pressing down the handle to send it spinning at quite high speed.The revolutions help shake off the water.I also used this spinner to help wash and dry cherry tomatoes as well and it performed equally as well.Stopping the spinner revolving is simplicity itself,just a lever push.The only thing that stops me awarding 5 stars is the fact that this is an extra item to wash up,after usage.

Es bonito, ligero y muy funcional. Quería un centrifugador de tamaño pequeño y éste es ideal porque cabe en el frigorífico y de esta manera conservar la ensalada fresca.
