GREAT MAILBOX!
We love the larger dimensions, solid metal construction and magnetic closure on the door. This is a very well-made item! The flag is stiff and won't fall down in the wind. The mailbox was easy to install with a few wood screws (not included). We customized ours with a reflective vinyl design and numbers. Perfect replacement for our old, boring box.

Very nice mailbox.
I like it very much, especially with having a handyman install it for us.

Sturdy and Purdy, the best, BUT NOT AS BIG AS STATED.
I purchased this mailbox for 3 reasons. It looked sturdy. It looked beautiful. And the size was claimed to be 23/12/13, i.e. BIG. Well, it is well made, heavy duty and beautiful. Easily the best constructed mailbox I have ever owned.BUT!, the "product dimensions " were NOT of the product, but of the shipping box. The shipping box was 23 inches deep (claimed product size of 23). 11.5 inches wide (claimed 12). And 12.5 inches tall (claimed 13). Whether this snafu was intentional or accidental is irrelevant, the problem exists (on November 6th, 2022 anyway). The mailbox itself was wrapped in a heavyweight plastic bag. The manufacturers are apparently righteously proud if their product and want to protect it from shipping hazards. Also, foam inserts protected the mailbox from impact damage very well. However, inside all that thick foam and shipping box was a much smaller mailbox than what I desired and expected. The actual dimensions of the outside of the mailbox was 19 inches deep (not 23), 9 inches high (not 13), 8.5 inches wide (not12). The Actual Opening of the mailbox was a mere 8 inches high at the highest point of the arch (not 13)! And 7.25 inches wide (not 12)! Therefore, a box being placed into the opening of this mailbox can't be wider than 7.25 inches and must be much less taller than 8 inches. And certainly not 23 inchs long, but less than 19! That's a major discrepancy from the advertisement. I knocked off one star due to the fact the "product dimensions " was grossly in error. I'll query Amazon for an ad correction. Now that I have blown all that hot air, I will keep this STURDY, WELL CONSTRUCTED and BEAUTIFUL mailbox in spite of its VASTLY SMALLER SIZE THAN WHAT I EXPECTED/WANTED. Also, I read some reviews about the magnet not keeping the door shut very well. Mine came with a stout magnet that solidly keeps the door shut. The magnet's color and texture lead me to the opinion that maybe it's a neodymium magnet.Insofar as the size, I would call this a medium sized mailbox. Bigger than standard, smaller than large. So buy according to your needs. It's a fine mailbox, better than most I've seen by far. Expensive fodder for juvenile delinquents with their hockey sticks and baseball bats though. Good luck on your decision...

well made
I love the magnetic door. We live in a windy area and this mailbox has passed the test! It is weather proof, attractive, and was easy to install. A very good value for the price.

Looks nice. Doesn't stay closed.
I wanted a black one so I bought mine at Lowe's brand new and only for 60$. Not sure why it's so much more here. Just wanted to come write a review. I love the look. It's a little bigger than our really old mailbox we had. It opens easily. But the magnet is so weak. Our first time getting mail and it was wide open still. The mailman doesn't want to work that hard getting it to magnetize closed. We glued a tiny strong magnet on there.. Hopefully that'll fix it.

Rusts after 1 season.
Only lasted one winter. Manufacturer will not warranty it. It’s in the fine print one there “limited lifetime warranty” very disappointed because of the price it cost.

Magnet is too weak.
The magnet is too weak. If the mail carrier flips the door closed it pops open. The bottom, side mounting holes were plugged and had to be drilled out.

Very attractive at the end of the driveway
Full disclosure, these mailboxes are lovely. But they will not withstand a direct hit from a vehicle driven by an unfortunate, elderly neighbor. 😉😊I bought this mailbox to replace the one that jumped out in front of the car, to its death. It got its licks in though, took out a fender and the windshield of the car. Poor old guy, I felt just terrible for him.I love them. They’re very attractive and make a nice statement at the end of the driveway. Especially when paired with the post that goes with it.The magnet on the first one was set back too far and barely held the door. I had to add another rare earth magnet to it so it would hold. This one seems to hold a bit better, but could still use a slightly more aggressive magnet.
