For hvac + evap coil use how often does it need to be reapplied?

The clean smell usually lasts 4-5 days for me. I apply to the evaporator coil about every 2-3 weeks during the cooling season.

What does this do? What can it be used on?

I had used this product to clean and refresh the drain pipes from my furnace.

do you rinse with water after spraying?

No need to rinse. My hvac duct installer suggested spraying 6 sprays into the air return every 6 months to prevent mold and bacteria build up. Turn fan on, spray and leave for 30 minutes. Turn fan off upon returning.
