NECA Cult Classics 6 Inch Shaun of the Dead Action Figure 2Pack Shaun Ed

This was my last and final addition to my Shaun of the Dead action figure collection.The details are simply fantastic although I just wish it could be 9 or 10 inches tall instead of 6. Considering the amount of money I spent, which is only the quarter of my monthly pay check, I'd have liked it to be a wee bit taller but I'm still happy with the product and the Shaun of the Dead feel it gives.After taking about 15-20 minutes to open the package I was surprised by Ed's left arm because it wasn't attached to its place of articulation. It simply fell off, it was like that when I took the figure very carefully out of the box. It's not like I forced it either, it just wasn't secured on him. And about that, I tried quite a lot to attach it back in its place, which was incredibly difficult, but it's still loose and when I move his arm even just a tiny bit it falls off again so I gave up and left it that way. Oh and by the way, the handle of the shovel can be removed easily to make Ed wield it so don't try to force Ed's fingers open like I did. I'm glad I didn't broke them in the process when I realised how simple it was. Just remove the handle and slide the shovel between Ed's fingers and then attach the handle back on its rear and you're done.However, Ed's arm wasn't the only hassle I had to go through. Another main trouble I had was with Shaun and his Winchester rifle. I just couldn't get Shaun to hold Winchester the way he holds it in the picture. I did get close though and while I tried to get him to hold the rifle (again very gently), the rather thin plastic handle right under the trigger ripped in half. Luckily it didn't come off completely and in its current position it's difficult to detect so I'm safe I guess. After I slid his right hand on the trigger it was time to get the muzzle to rest on Shaun's left hand which proved to be a difficult task as well. After the incident with the trigger I didn't want to force it any more than I needed to in fear of breaking the whole rifle but anyway I finally managed to get him to properly hold it. Shaun doesn't hold the rifle near his eyesight like in the pictures but he holds it across his chest. I tried to raise his arms to his eyesight to make him look like he is targeting some kind of zombie but it just didn't work so again I just left it that way :)After this tiresome exercise, all there was left to do was to attach this fantastic duo on the stand and place the molotov coctail on the floor. Despite my unsuccessful attempts at making them pose the way I wanted, they still look brilliant!

Especially "Ed" that Nick Frost plays is a happy three-dimensionalization.・ Exquisite painting based on hand painting.Reproduction of Winchester's decoration, a scoop with a blood glucose, a flame bottle using a high-end brandy bottle, a remote control of a preste etc.· The pedestal which reproduced the floor of the pub is the fineness of the art that scattering sweet snacks, Guinness coasters, wine corkscrew etc etc.- The scoop part of the handle comes off, it is made to have it without putting a burden on the hand grip part.· It was reasonable price at the time of sale.[Points to care a bit] ·· As a action figure, the upper body's movements are reasonably good, while the lower body has no moving parts.· Initially the cause of paint or shoulder joints were hard. Settled within moving.· For Editor purchase, Ed's right arm was easy to escape.· I wanted a smile change part like Ed 's frog.· Shaun has few moving parts compared to Ed.

I bought these action figures for my dad for Christmas. For the price they are fairly high quality. They have fully articulating joints and interchangeable hands that allow them to be positioned in a number of ways. The figures also come with a very detailed platform to stand on that resembles the floor inside of Shaun and Ed's house in the movie. Overall - a great collectible for Shaun of the Dead fans.

Very cool looking set. Very detailed and surprisingly accurate looking. Super cool toy for any fans of the movie. Only downside is that the packaging is very hard to open, so have a pair of scissors ready so you don't damage the figures. These are definitely more for display than play.

Very detailed. Everytime I look at it it reminds me of the movie. I just love the NECA line of figures. They always deliver.

Une si ce n'est LA plus réussie des reproductions des personnages de shaun of the dead !attention comme pour certaines ces jouets la sont des "jouets" je préviens tout de suite que c'est plus ou moins fragile, ce sont des objets de collection pour cinéphiles donc ne les offrez qu'aux grands enfants qui sont en age d'apprécier sans casser !
