Can I use this on a cat?

You have to get the cat or kitten kind. It didn't work anyway. I put it on my dog's and they still had fleas. Frontline plus and advantage 2 only works for 1 1/2 to 2 weeks. I even bought that collar that is suppose to last 8 months and it didn't work either. I am trying to find something that does work.
