Masterpiece High Definition Mascara, Black Brow

This Mascara is my favourite among all the mascaras I have tried. I have tried both the reasonably-priced and expensive ones like Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinique but I still end up getting this in the end. It's very easy to apply. I like the simple design of the brush that can reach even the smallest of my lashes located the the outer corner of my eyes. I like both variants of plain and waterproof. They both do the same job except of course that the other one is waterproof and needs a special kind of make up remover to take it off. Not only do they thicken my lashes, they lengthen them as well.

Max Factor Masterpiece has been my go-to mascara for years in England and I didn't think I'd be able to get it once I moved to the USA, so I was very pleased to find it on Amazon. This product never lets me down; it is a smooth, no lumps, glossy black, lengthening mascara, that doesn't give the impression of fake lashes but does add volume. It is defining enough for daytime and can be lashed on for evenings. I don't choose the waterproof version as I don't like trying to remove it, however, on a day to day basis this lasts well, without flaking or smearing. Great price too!

Think it's a fake. I've used Max Factor Calorie 2000 since 1988. When they left I was greatly upset because of how long it took me to find a great mascara like Max Factor's. I was excited to see it on Amazon and bought it up right away. I was disappointed that it didn't have the Max Factor quality I was used to. So I went back to Amazon to purchase another type of Max Factor mascara. I noticed the labeling of MaX Factor was different than this one. I'm not sure if this is a new marketing label or not, but I think this is fake Max Factor branding because the quality was not there. BEWARE WHEN PURCHASING. As for this product, I was disappointed. It went on light, flaked throughout the day, and didn't have the Max Factor volume typical of Max Factor mascaras. My lashes are naturally long, so I like a mascara that will accentuate them without clumping and making them look fake like some of the other products out there. I like length and volume - Max Factor typically delivered this.

4.5. Love this mascara ! I would totally cry if I wasn't able to get this in the US anymore . It is very long lasting and really separates your lashes. This is truly the ONLY mascara I have found to make my lashes dramatic but not look like spider legs . My only complaint is that I think when it gets in my eyes they sting . It also makes a mess if I forget to take it off at night. But what it does for my eyes is amazing so I'll deal with it.

I love this mascara & have used it for 7 years, tried others over this time & they just don't measure up, it's the best! I order it from the UK as it's not available in the US & I can't find one I love nearly as much over here. I used the rich black - you can sleep in it & it doesn't budge, love it! One coat is perfect for day-wear, & then layer another on top later on perfectly for evening-wear. The brush is fantastic, separates every lash neatly, giving you tons of lashes & volume.

Great mascara but it was dry - maybe old or opened

I'm so glad Amazon sells this. I'm from The Netherlands where I always purchased this mascara. This is the best! Separates your lashes and gives them volume. I don't have big, long, full eyelashes, but when I apply this, it looks like I do. And that's what I need in a mascara :)

I have used this mascara for years. It does not cause irritation that is what I love about Max Factor. Unfortunately, the past two times I have ordered it (and from different vendors) it has come kind of dried and clumpy which makes it hard to apply.
