Four 8” tall (‘(top diameter is 6.9”), colorful plastic pails with handles - they seem quite sturdy. The handles are well anttached. Actually I used one of the beach sand pails for a different purpose. My home office and the adjoining bathroom are awash with bright primary colors. I call my office my happy place. The bathroom evolved into a beach theme that all started with a school of fish I purchased for display years ago. Then came a beach ball rug, a nautical robe hangin on the door, a beach/water poster - well, you get the picture. The necessary items - soap dish, waste basket, tissue holder etc. - are red, blue and golden yellow. I always try to add some greenery. In this case I filled the golden yellow pail with a faux plant ( also from Amazon, der Rose plants). Yes, anything can be a planter. This one certainly fit the theme.

These are billed as a set of sand buckets for going to the beach, but they can be used for other things such as an ice cooler for a bottle of wine. The dimensions of the bucket are approximately 7" wide at the top, 8" tall, and just under 4.5" wide at the base. Given that this bucket is pretty narrow as compared to other buckets of this height, it has a slight tendency to tip over if you don't have something solid inside the bucket. The colors in the photo description are not accurate for the red and yellow buckets. I got a pink/salmon bucket instead of a red bucket, and the yellow one is more mustard color than marigold. The handles of the bucket are the weakest part, as they are made of flimsy plastic that might be uncomfortable to hold for long periods of time if you fill your bucket with sand/water. Since I do not plan to use the handles, this does not bother me, but it may be an issue for you or your small child. Overall, the quality of the plastic bucket is good, but at $20 retail, they seem a little overpriced for what you get.

The quality of these beach buckets were terrible. I should have just grabbed dollar store buckets - they would've lasted longer. The first afternoon my kids played with them, they all had cracks.

We needed some buckets to take to the beach and these are perfect. Four pails in different colors so we know who gets each one. 8" tall makes for a large bucket and holds lots of sand and water. Sturdy pails with white plastic handles.
