Works Great for ASUS Flow X16
Purchased Nov 2024Functionality:This pen works very well with my laptop which is the ASUS Flow X16 (a laptop that flips to a tablet). This laptop isn't listed, so it'll be helpful to those considering buying it with an ASUS laptop. The Asus computer offers pen settings so you can change pen shortcuts. The button works well, although the pen's sleek slim design does make it hard to find the button when writing. To use the button I release my grip to find the button and press, then return to my grip. If you are an artist or plan to use this for taking notes, I doubt you'll use the button feature as much. The charging port is placed in a good position to charge your pen and use it at the same time. It also doesn't take long before the pen is charged enough to use.Feel:This pen feels slim. I was working with a larger pen stylus before, so the grip was something to adjust to. I would consider the size when purchasing to ensure it's a size you would be comfortable using. An advantage is that it fits in my narrow pencil pouch.Overall, very slick design. Feels like holding a pencil.Personal Experience:I use this pen to take notes for classes on Goodnotes and draw on Krita. The pen works very well for those apps. As previously mentioned, I don't use the button much since I haven't gotten used to it. The button is a good addition, but it doesn't make my experience any better. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing this pen since it works as intended and is an affordable option.

Buy it now, forget other pens
Bought this for my Asus Zenbook and it was automatically compatible as soon as the pen touched the laptop. No need to connect via Bluetooth (at least for the Asus Zenbook). Fantastic for writing notes and annotating PDFs in OneNote!!

Not very sensitive
While the pen technically works, there are gaps when you are writng and inconsistent lines. It doesn't seem to work with one note commands and you can't change the color, thickness or anything about sketching. All you get is a thin black line. You can go back in later and cut and paste and change the formatting but who's going to do that? Not nearly as quality as an Apple pen that comes native to the iPad. This I am using on a PC but I'm wondering if the native PC pen is more responsive and works better with Windows 11. And also does not fit in the keyboard slot, and it's about an inch too long.Returning this item

No good for Surface 11 Pro
I give it an extra star because it looks nice, feels good in the hand, and does (or did) technically work as a stylus… just nowhere near well enough to use in practice. As soon as you take it out of the box, it works without having to pair. You can even see the cursor on the screen when you hover a half inch above or so. That’s nice. It also has a quality, strong magnet inside. That’s nice too.The glaringly not-so-nice bit is that it leaves a gappy, broken line instead of the clean unbroken line you want when you’re… doing anything you could possibly use a stylus for.I tried multiple drawing and note taking programs, restarted my computer, fully charged the pen, and nothing fixed this issue. Finally, I went to Best Buy and asked to try an actual Microsoft Surface pen just to be absolutely positive that it wasn’t my computer causing the problem. The manufacturer pen works beautifully. In a stroke of luck, the pen I tried in the store was an open-box return in excellent condition and I got it at a huge discount, so I can’t be too sore about the poorly functioning one I’m reviewing (and soon returning) here.Bottom line: if you’re using a Microsoft tablet/laptop and want to save some money, avoid this pen. Go to your local electronics store and ask if they have any open boxes and maybe you’ll get lucky too.

Works good but small line skipping
While 90% of the time this works however, there are times when the line has a small skip, so for a split second the pen stops and there is a gap in the line. Other than that, this product is great overall, and I do not regret my purchase .

Solid digital art pen
Top tier digital pen, nice comfortable size. Drawing with this pen is so much better than the surface pen, feels better on the screen. The pen is well made and easy to charge even though I haven't had to charge it much. I do wish it came in other colors but that's not s big deal, the black is fine.

Missing parts and sub par quality, but okay value.
The media could not be loaded. Not great, but also you get what you pay for. Some missing parts and sub par functionality. The package did not come with a charging cable or extra nib, which seems to be a recurring issue based on other reviews. The pen itself connected automatically which was nice, and worked right away. I’m using this on a Surface pro with Clip Studio Paint. The pen ‘works’ but it wobbles when doing diagonal lines, making it near impossible to do clean lines. It does straight lines vertically and horizontally, but as soon as you go diagonal, the lines become wavy.I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 because it is the cheapest option I could find, 20% the price of a name brand Microsoft pen, so I guess it’s worth the discount and will get you by as long as you’re not needing great drawing quality.

It works, no complaints.
Works with my Windows tablet. A magnet holds it to the device pretty well. Easy to recharge.
