SamsungQ800D Q-Symphony 5.1.2ch Cinematic Dolby Atmos Wi-Fi Soundbar with Subwoofer

Very easy to setup with Samsung tv, one cable only from earc to tv earc and the symphony works really well incorporating the tv speakers. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it. The subwoofer is absolutely tremendous and produces excellent bass and vibrations when any explosions occur and amazing sound experience and the surround sound is really amazing. The build quality is good also very sturdy and looks the part in any modern home.

I was looking for a soundbar with a subwoofer but without the additional speakers to put on the back of the sofa (lack of space).Still, I wanted a system to watch movies and enjoy the Dolby atmos experience and after considering Sonos Arc and Sonos sub mini, I decided to give a go to this Samsung Q800D.What I like:The finish, the quality of material is great, the subwoofer is made of a matte black , elegant and nice. The audio quality is great, dialogues, Dolby sorround and Dolby atmos make it very to watch movies.What I don’t like:The remote looks cheap, it’s not the usual quality from Samsung but seems they didn’t bother to make a good one.You don’t really need it as you can use Alexa or the app on the phone.For 450£ I think it was a great deal.

The sound from the soundbar is second to none, easy to install,Quick & easy connection to TV. The woofer has great Bass.

Not as good as I thought it would be I’m afraid

I swapped my old Bose home cinema for the Samsung Q800D as I fancied a change. It also matches my new Samsung TV so the can be paired together using Q syphony.They sound amazing watching 4K films in Dolby Atmos. It was also a fantastic price in the black Friday sale. I was very sceptical about getting this after having a Bose system but this blows it out of the water.

Very very disappointed that the Samsung soundbar that I was sent failed to function correctly, when added to my TV at the weekend. After initially pairing with the TV, it failed after little more than an hour & despite my best efforts ( this included connecting with both hdmi & optical cables, together with trying Bluetooth.) it would not function at all.Have now boxed the unit up and am now awaiting details of returns from the seller.This has badly dented my confidence in Samsung, especially as this product wasn't exactly cheap.Will now process a refund from the seller.

Amazing bit of kit. Fits very flush in my room, Dolby is as expected, insane, sub can be hidden well and delivers bass and you're not sure where it's coming from because it's booming. If you have a detached house, this will be a home cinema. Add on Samsung Satellite speakers to complete the feeling. HDMI eARC is naturally much better than Bluetooth, like, much. Has sync function to delay or speed up sync audio.

Good speakers but stopped working after 2 months
