By my standards in 2024, these BVD t-shirts are great! They are the thickest t-shirts I have found at a somewhat reasonable price. They are very soft too which, isn't a big deal for me. The other area where manufacturers look to shave costs is size. You'll buy your typical brand (for me, that was G) and suddenly, your new shirts are basically skin tight. These BVD shirts are very roomy, but not sloppy. I'm just glad to find a thicker material at a reasonable price rather than the sheer, see-through t-shirts being sold by most today. Keep making these BVD and, I'll gladly keep buying them. RECOMMENDED

Comfortable, Fit Well, and Last
This is the second "lot" of these shirts for me -- the first set have held up for years, but starting to look a bit dingy, so I figured it was time to replace them. The previous shirts have held up very well, fit me well, and are comfortable, so there was no need for me to try a different brand.

Different from the older BVD Crew Tees, but still comfortable and priced right
Overview: The New BVD Crew Tees are not quite the same as the older ones from a few years ago, but they're still pretty good.Size & Comfort: They do fit quite comfortably and do seem to be fairly well made, especially around the collar, but they're a little thinner, a little tighter around the shoulders, and a little longer than they used to be. It seems like these days most of men's clothing is sized for the tallest, skinniest guys around rather than guys with stockier or more muscular builds. I usually purchase tees in XL, so that's what I bought these in and I'd say that they're just a tad tighter than they should be, but the good news is that they haven't really tightened up at all after washing them. Maybe just a little bit, but not very much. The collar, I must say, does fit me just fine and that's my main point of contention with most tees. If the collar is too tight around your neck, you'll be pulling at it all day just to try and loosen it up a bit, but I don't have that problem with these. Also, I get hot pretty easily, so I actually like that they're a little thinner than before. If you are wearing one of these as an undershirt during the hot summer months, that's a definite bonus.Overall: I feel that the BVD Crew Tees are fairly comfortable, priced very well, and I would likely purchase them again.

The best overall
I wanted to replace my Gildan A-shirts, which I liked a lot. I had purchased them at Wal-Mart about six years ago, unfortunately they have replaced them with a brand called George. So here's the journey I went on to replace them; I purchased 7 different Brands.-Gildan (here on Amazon)-Hanes-Fruit of the Loom-George-Van Heusen-Pro 5-BVDI returned all of them but one - BVD(I am 5'9", 180 lbs, with a muscular build)The Gildan's I purchased on Amazon had lost the quality of the previous ones I had owned, they were paper thin and sized incorrectly (too small). The Hanes, the George, and the Fruit of the Loom were just as disappointing. The Van Heusen had a thicker material than the previous 4, but didn't really have a stretchy feel to the material, they were somewhat loose even right out of the package. In addition they are short, which probably means they are meant to be used as outerwear rather then tucked in as an undershirt (although I do use mine as outerwear, these were too loose). Now the Pro 5 were really the thickest, but they are extremely long in the 2XL, which is what I needed to buy to fit me around my chest and torso, but I had to return them because there are way too long (I guess these would be ideal for someone tall, maybe 6' or taller). The BVD had the best of all of them: they were stretchy, they are the 2nd thickest, and have just about the best length to either tuck or wear as outerwear (and their six pack happens to be the best value as well, $3.50 per shirt). I know this review is gonna help you eliminate the frustration of buying shirt, after shirt, after shirt, to find the best one.

Excellent
So much better than Hanes or FOTL. The neck holes don't get all stretched out like the others. Quality t-shirts.

Excellent
I’m very picky when it comes to my shirts. These are outstanding. Super comfortable. The neck doesn’t wad/roll up like cheap tshirts. And they’re long enough to not ride up when I lean over.

PROS AND CONS
I’ve spent over 5,000 USD on these shirts for my small business and they have their pros and cons!Pros: thick, durable, and fairly pricedCons: 1. some packs come water damaged so maybe half the shirts will be yellow and wont come out even when washed. 2. Some of the packs will have small bugs on the shirts. 3. I order maybe 5-10 packs a week and although I order the same thing every time I get different style wife beaters some are thicker and some are thinner (that includes the arm straps and the overall thickness of the shirt)I loved these tanks sooooo much until they’re started randomizing the packs of tanks! Sometimes I get really thick shirts and sometimes I get thinner shirts it’s hit or miss which is really annoying I wish they could’ve stayed the same style they were 3 months ago.If you can see in the picture the left shirt with no writing the straps are thinner and the neckline isn’t so high and on the right the straps are thicker and the neckline is higher which is super annoying and sometimes they shrink a whole size and sometimes they don’t depending on which pack/style they decide to send out -_-

Good so far!
I picked these up when my Jockey undershirts were worn through. The Jockey ones were great: they fit well, felt good, and lasted for a while. The Jockey ones were out of stock when I needed new ones, so rather than wait, I decided to try these instead. They had great reviews. Many people swore by them. The price was right. I went for it. And yeah, they're good so far! They've made it through several wears and washes and they continue to fit well, not shrink, and feel comfortable. Sure, it's ultimately just an undershirt, but if you're going to buy one of these on Amazon, at least consider these.

I still have some old BVD T Shirts and Briefs and they are much superior quality and made in the USA
Both the T Shirts and the Briefs were not up to the quality I was used to from BVD. Unfortunately I had opened them and tried them on otherwise I would have sent them back. I still have some old BVD T Shirts and Briefs and they are much superior quality and made in the USA. I would not recommend these to anyone.
