Great Product to Prevent Gastric Ulcer Recurrence
My equine veterinarian recommended this product as a natural supplement to help prevent a recurrence of gastric ulcers in my Off the Track Thoroughbred (OTTB) after traditional treatment. It has worked great at helping to manage this horse who raced hard for over 8 years and is now in re-training for dressage. He hasn't objected to the powder in his feed, and I've seen no signs of his ulcers coming back. I plan to continue feeding this product once per day for as long as I own this horse. Gastric Aid A+++
Gastric aid is another awesome product by Finish Line. I keep my thoroughbred mare on it year round to prevent ulcers as her breed is more prone to them. I've noticed a huge improvement in her mood and attitude to work. As an event rider I'll do anything to keep my horse happy and healthy and Gastric Aid will always be in my arsenal! Does the job.
I have an elderly Thoroughbred who needs daily bute to keep his hocks happy, and he had some episodes of mild colic before I started him on U-7. He hasn't colicked since he began getting U-7 in his grain. It's well worth the investment.

Product does what it's designed to do. However, there are similar products with probiotic, which don't require adding another supplement. I would highly recommend this product to any horse owner facing digestive issues. My horse couldn't tolerate Ulcerguard, even at the lower 1/4 tube dose. I figured her issues were more hind gut related.
