The pyramid tea sachets are a fantastic feature—they allow the tea leaves to fully infuse, resulting in a rich flavor. Highly recommend!

Turns bitter very quickly; Generous amount of tea in each bag; Sealed individual teabags These are individually sealed tea bags. The teabags are quite large and are well filled. You could easily do a small pot of tea with one bag. However, do NOT let the bag steep too long least the flavor turns bitter. I would say it is definitely better to under brew this tea rather than risk over brewing. Usually green tea is not that high in caffeine, however the box indicates this is a high caffeine tea--it rates the amount of caffeine in this tea as having the maximum number of stars. That surprised me, but did not influence my testing, because I read that after tasting the tea. I wonder if the rating is somehow associated with the fact that these teabags are so full (e.g. more tea= more caffeine per bag)--but that is speculation on my part. The bags the tea rests in are not paper, but some sort of synthetic netting, so not good for the environment, but the tea itself is labeled organic on the box (USDA cert), and anything grown under organic conventions is itself generally better for the environment than conventional(e.g. industrial) growing practices. Watch your brew time, and have a lovely pot of tea!

I do feel at over $1 a bag it is a little overpriced. There are lots of alternative choices at a better price point out there. Dream of the East is a good choice for a smooth tea.

Very good tasting oolong tea, with intriguing flavor. Picture shows the tea leaves after brewing. There is a lot of tea in each bag so you can make a strong tea without bitterness. Almost no fines or tea pieces were in the bottom of my cup when the tea was gone. The tea taste lingers in your mouth with the green and maybe some fruity undertones. Excellent by itself or as a complement to food.These teabags/sachets are packed in individual mylar (shiny inside) bags. The sachets are made of a biodegradable bioplastic, polylactic acid, according to the printing on the box. There is a best-by date on the bottom of the box (in December, 2025). I bet you will like this tea and have no problem using it long before this date.

This is a box of 16 pyramid mesh type teabags individually wrapped in foil pouches, in mint lemongrass flavor, from Chayeah. The first thing you notice is that the manufacturer box seems big for 16 teabags, but that is because they are individually wrapped, and also because the teabags are large to accommodate high quality whole leaf tea leaves. When you brew this tea, the contents of the mesh bag expand and you can see the whole tea leaves. It is black tea, flavored with apple, lemon, lemongrass, and mint. The mint flavor is not in-your-face, it is more subtle. The tea has a good, balanced black tea flavor, not overly bitter or tannic, and a very pleasant fruitiness. The lemongrass flavor comes through very well and is very enjoyable. All in all this is an excellent tea with a good combination of flavors. As I'm writing this, the price for the box of 16 teabags is $16.99, so just over $1.00 per serving, which is on the higher end, but probably in keeping with the price of other high quality teas.

I'm really enjoying this mint-lemongrass flavored black tea. This is my perfect flavor for drinking first thing in the morning through early afternoon. It has a very pleasant flavor which is primarily lemongrass to me, but there are hints showing through of the lemon, apple chunks, spearmint and of course, the organic black tea base. It tastes like an herbal tea, but still has a moderate amount of caffeine. I also love that it comes in stringed triangle bags in individual sachets, which is a bit wasteful but preserves this fine, fresh tea well. I love this tea so much, it could replace all my other caffeinated teas in the pantry. Unfortunately, I will go through this box fast, drinking several cups per day. If you enjoy lemongrass flavored tea, you will love this, I can confidently say.
