It is fairly loud,though I don't own a decibel meter.As purely a comparative, I've never seen or heard a quiet blower. the rig works really well & doesn't drain the batteries too quickly & it has saved loads of effort on my part 👍

Q: How long will the battery last with the 5amp 18v battery?

I only have a 3amp battery but I seem to remember one of the reviews commented on a 5amp battety

Your Blower will work with any Ryobi One battery, in base terms the higher the battery ah the longer use time you will achieve. I have a 1.2ah which gives approximately 3>5 mins on full power if I use the 5ah battery which is recommended i achieve 15> 20 mins on full power I would expect a 2.5ah to achieve 10>15 mins hope this helps.
