Hosa PWP-426 IEC C7 to NEMA 1-15P Power Cord, 8 Feet

Needed a longer replacement cord for my new tv stand configuration. It gives me power, and is long enough.... so it does the job. I wish they had a 10, though. I didn't see one before.

Wanted a long cable this work just fine on my new Samsung LED 55 in tv. The build quality is good

I bought a similar cable on Amazon a few years ago that works great in all devices/power supplies, but this one has a design flaw that means it won't fit in some.You can see in the picture on the "socket" end of the plug, the plastic juts out about 1/2 inch from the tip. That means if the socket on your device is more than 1/2 inch deep the plastic hits and prevents it from going all the way into the socket. I intended to use this with my Microsoft Surface Pro power supply to get a longer reach than the tiny 2-foot cable included, but unfortunately the socket on the power supply is slightly deeper than 1/2 inch so this power cord won't fit all the way in and make a solid connection.
