I wasn't expecting to be impressed, but I am. I originally bought the 1-1/4 single bit because I didn't have the time and didn't want to spend the money to have a part made at the local metal shop. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. Not only is the cut nice and clean but the pilot bit is actually centered properly. I cut from both sides in order to have clean edges on both sides of the work piece and even when the hole saw breaks though you can see it has very little tear out and no visible offset from side to side. I actually ended up getting the 10 piece set after the first use. I mainly use aluminum for projects at home but after getting the set and having 2 of the 1-1/4 size I took one to work and tried it in our mill on a 1/4 inch thick piece of mild steel scrap with the same great results. So, if you work with aluminum or mild steel I don't think you will find better at this price point. If you are working with hardened steel or stainless...I just can't see anything at this price point holding up. There is a reason the professional shops spend over $100 on a single hole saw like these or use a CNC Mill whenever possible when working with those types of metals. The only other thing I can think to say is "use cutting oil/paste".

This stood up to steel channel 6 inch wide 2 inch tall and 3/8 thick took the beating using a drill press at the lowest but higher speed than recommended drilled 2 holes and 5 more to go and no problems oh make sure You use plenty of lubricant. After 2 hole still like new and sharp just buy it. and most of the time someone is using these wrong and get bad results way to fast of a rpm no lube too much stress on one side etc etc.

I drill 3/16 metal and it did a good job but it wears down fast I only drill five holes and I got only 30% left, wish it could last longer.

the bit cut good for the first 4 1/2 holes in stainless then it was destroyed. The teeth are gone. I was cutting slowly and using water to kept it cool.

It cuts very fast.

Work great on metal boxes and panels. I love them.

They work very good. But no proper box to keep them in. I’d look for that if I buy them again.
