Every now and then we run across a product that does what it says it will do without any complications or 312 step process. Such is the vSpin.We are regular wine drinkers and have more bottles in storage than I care to mention. Some are relatively young, some middle-aged, and some well aged. I give my wife grief because she would always choose "fresh" wine, but she did so because she did not want to wait for older bottles to breathe. Enter the vSpin.We've used this on several bottles, from old and young, and it makes a noticeable difference very quickly. We taste the bottles before deciding whether to cycle them through the vSpin, and if so, for how long. While there is a chart available on the web site, I find it often underestimates the time needed. Still, within 3-5 minutes, even the most stubborn wines will open up.It does exactly what it says it will do.One more note. I, too, had batteries that would not hold a charge. I dropped a line to the company, they apologized and sent me new batteries along with instructions on how to change them (not quite as simple as just plopping them in the battery compartment). Within 5 minutes the problem was solved. The batteries were a luxury for me, anyway, since I almost always have it plugged in when I use it.So, quality product that does what it claims, and responsive customer service to boot. Add that the carafe is easy to clean and dry since the neck is reasonably wide.I would buy this again and recommend it to anyone who wants to take wines from bottle to mouth in a few minutes.

Works great but battery doesn’t hold charge. I tried resetting etc but didn’t work

I can't say enough about the positive experience I've had with this product and seller. I purchased 4 v-spin decanters as gifts. Everyone loves it! Unfortunately two of the three decanters had trouble with the battery dying after just a couple uses. We contacted the seller and were delighted with the customer service. The response was nearly immediate and the replacement battery arrived within days. Fast forward to this week when I broke the decanter. Again, I emailed the seller. I received a response within the hour. I was able to have a new decanter ordered within the day, shipped the next. The customer service rep even emailed me a photo of the UPS label! Hats off to V-Spin and to their customer service rep, Charn. Cheers!

This device is fantastic. The taste of the wine is night and day after 5 mins of decanting. We tested a 2012 Materra Cabernet. We tried it right out of the bottle, at speed 3 after 3 and 5 mins. It kept getting better. If you like wine, this is worth the price. Looking forward to trying with some less expensive wines.

The glass is nice and the magnet in the bottom is generally hidden. I do worry about breaking the decanter and I'm not sure how easy it is to buy a replacement. I have decanted a half dozen bottles so far. Not sure how much difference the spin time made in the taste of the wine, but in fairness, the wines were all fairly young and ready to drink. Need to try it with an older bottle that could use some extra decant time.

Got this for my wife as her anniversary gift. It’s been over a year now and it’s always a conversational item when I have friends over. My wife loves it and over all it gives our wines even better flavor notes. Definitely a must have!

I am really excited about this product. And was looking forward to using it! Unfortunately, it just didn’t work.It turned on. All the buttons worked. Buuut the base wouldn’t register the decanter and start spinning like it’s supposed to. We reset the base as it said for trouble shooting…nothing. We let it charge for an hour thinking maybe it just needed a little “juice” to start going….nothing.For this price point, I simply just expected it to work. We have requested a replacement from Amazon…easy enough, but it going to take over a week to get to me when my original purchase was prime and arrived in two days.I am hopeful I can update this review on the item itself and it’s ability to perform. But I don’t think I can give the item 5 stars due to the way Amazon handled the replacement and the lower level quality control vspin has for an item at this price point. I understand this happens with products and duds can exist. But these should be discovered before they are boxed, then sent to a third party, and then sent to me.

We had been given a positive review of Vspin by a friend and as a result purchased it as a gift for my husband’s birthday. It is outstanding and surprising at the same time. The skeptics in our family of wine snobs were blown away by the difference in taste.Not only is the Vspin a great addition to our household of wine drinkers, the company itself has far surpassed my expectation of customer service. I can’t say enough about how they handled a hiccup that had nothing to do with them. The president/ceo is passionate about his creation and worked hard to ensure I had the product in my hands for the special day.

What a great product! Got it for my dad and he LOVES it, highly recommend!

This came dead on arrival. It happens, but the build quality of this thing is abysmal. There's no reason for it to cost $300. The base is black, the cable is white, the charger is red. It's a mess of plastic. The buttons are terrible as is the LED screen. For $300, this thing uses NiMH batteries? The batteries are not covered under the warranty, and they will fail relatively quickly with regular use. The reset button actually requires a pin. It's a mess all around.

Even though I am no wine expert, i can tell there is a difference after decanting with the vspin. Wine is typically smoother with slightly different scents being release from the spin. Fun to experiment with different decanting times with your favorite wine to bring out the best in it.
