Portable and simple to use
I hooked this up to my ~5" x '2.75" x 3/8" 5000 mAh power bank battery and it worked as described. The heating pad belt has a pouch to secure your power bank battery on the belt, but the pouch was not deep enough to allow me to use the hook and loop closure intended to secure my battery inside the belt pouch. The battery did stay secure once the belt was strapped around my waist, but extending the belt battery pouch would be my suggestion for a design improvement. The on/off and high/medium/low-temperature settings are all controlled via a single simple-to-use push button switch.Putting the belt on around your waist is easy via the hook and loop closure design and there is plenty of belt to accommodate various waist sizes. I was even able to use it around my thigh muscle by wrapping the excess on one end and then securing the other end. The wrap is comfortable to wear but the actual heating element is relatively small at ~5.75" long and ~3.75" tall and worked best for me when sitting or lying down when using it for my lower back. It does not provide much support but does provide 3 levels of pin-point heat. The heating pad belt's portability is a great idea and a major selling feature. Overall, I'm satisfied with the ease of use and performance of this portable heating pad belt.

great heating pad -- as long as you understand how to power it
This is a review of GRAPHENE TIMES Portable Back Heat Pad, 3 Heat Levels I’m going to start by discussing the power source for this device since it seems that many reviewers were confused and disappointed. This device is not ‘rechargeable,’ to work, it needs to be plugged into a power pack (not included) or a usb port (on the computer or a port plugged into the wall . . . ). I already had a power pack charged up, so I plugged in the device, tucked the power pack in the little pocket, long-pressed the on/off button, and it heated right up. The heating pad is fully portable when plugged into a power pack. When I’m sitting in one place watching tv, it’s easy to plug it into a usb port plugged into the wall. I’ve tried other portable heating pads. This is a really good one. It is much better than any of the ones with a hard shell. This one is more comfortable and has a larger heated area. It also has a 1-hour auto shutoff (I’m a big fan of auto shutoff). The strap is long enough to accommodate different size people and to be able to use it on different body parts. The control is very simple, and functional. This one also seems sturdy. The seams are tight, the neoprene is thick enough to both hold a power pack and to withstand a lot of use (including the laying around on it type use). Besides use in the home, the portability makes it useful for travel. It is very lightweight, and I always carry both a power pack and a multiport USB charging block to charge my devices anyway, so the only extra item would be the heating pad itself. In short, this is a very good portable heating pad — as long as you understand about the power source.

Doesn’t come with a battery pack
This portable heating pad is a thinly designed heating pad. The heating pad is powered by using an external battery pack. Unfortunately a battery pack isn’t included. What I like:Has 3 heat temperature settingsHeats up to the medium/high setting quicklyThe heating pad is flexibleThe heating portion can be removedThe velcro strap is adjustableAutomatically turns off after an hour so I can use the heating pad before bed and not have to worry about it burning me.What I don’t like:Should come with a battery pack for the priceThe pocket that is for the battery pack isn’t that big

Does Not Work
I was excited to receive this and I promptly plugged it in to charge it. After charging overnight, it wouldn't turn on. So I charged it again. Still nothing. I did notice that I can turn it on while it is charging but since I can't use it while charging, then it doesn't do me any good.

It heats okay
This is a nice portable heating pack. It does not come with a battery so you have to plug it into a power bank if you have one. I don't see why they don't just include one because not everybody has a power bank available. The heat is soothing and I like that I can take it on the go however it doesn't get as hot as I would like. The velcro is adjustable to your size which is nice and it's comfortable to wear. Overall okay product and it helps ease some of my aches and pains.
