This item is a set of two plexiglass and silicone cupping set. I think it's misleading that they refer to the base of the cups as 'glass' given they are plastic. Anyhow, they are small in stature and suitable for facial cupping. You just clean the area you are addressing. Squeeze the colored ball and then place it on the skin and then let go of the ball. It will create a vacuum and the skin will be pulled up. I let the cup be engaged for just a few minutes per location of skin. I then apply some basic skin cream. You will have a red mark for a day or two so schedule wisely. You don't want to go on a date and have these round red marks all over your face. It would be awkward explaining the reason and would probably reduce the odds of another date. That said, this is a good entree into cupping and I suggest you do some internet searching to learn more about cupping and it's benefits. I think the price point for this pair of cups is reasonable. I am pleased with these cups and having them as part of my collection of massage tools.

These are very simple, small bulb cups for face cupping and, yes, they do function fairly well for this. However, there are some negatives. The cups are supposed to be “silica”, “glass” or “plexiglass” depending what part of the listing you’re reading, but I would say that these are just hard, cheap feeling plastic. More importantly, these really need some instructions or, at the very least, some precautions. Cupping increases blood flow to the skin, which is why it’s beneficial. But incorrect use can cause discoloration or even bruising. There are some excellent videos online to help with how to use these, and, as always, you can always talk to a professional before trying these at home.

Thus it is currently unclear what material these are made of since the listing refers to both silica, glass, and plexiglass. Because these do work, I am giving the seller the benefit of doubt that they will correct the listing and not give 3 stars as I would in most cases for misrepresenting a product. As long as you are not seeking a small glass cupping device you will be happy with these.
