Messermeister Silicone Bowl Scraper, Red

This is a great bowl scraper and "bench" scraper. Safer than stainless steel, and very attractive.

I can’t say enough good things about this scraper! It’s one of the most versatile tools I have. Sturdy, soft yet firm, cleans up perfectly. If I could only have one, would likely pick it.

This product is a must for painting in cold wax. Also have one for ceramics and one for acrylic paints. A go to precut for crafts.

Oil and cold wax painting is done with palette knives, brayers, and lots of other interesting tools. These are among my favorite--they are flexible without too much flex and provide a smooth surface that lets me apply paint either really gently or really get in there and move the wet layers around. I suspect they'd be good as bowl scrapers for the same reasons that they work so well on gessobord.... I'm just grateful that they are reasonably priced and very effective tools!

I use this product to remove dough and batter from bowls. The eccentric shape makes it possible to find a profile that will 'clean' variously shaped vessels and will also efficiently scrape a board. The inflexible interior is meant for working dough without deforming the tool. It works well to transfer chopped items to a pan. Scrape food safely from non-stick pans. Work dough on marble slabs without scratching the stone. I own and use more than one model of 'bench knife' or scraper and I am well-satisfied that this adds to my kit.

Easy to use. It cleans my bowls easy. I use it to remove the flour from the glass (I roll out dough over a glass cover). Just don't cut integral doughs with it (to make a pay grille) to prevent cracks at the edges.

This works great as a tool for applying and spreading acrylic paint.

As a pastry chef this tool is a must! It arrived when I needed it to. It does a wonderful job of getting every last ounce of product out of bowls. The little cut out is a great addition because it helps you grip the bowl scraper when working with large amounts of product so it doesnt slip out of your hand! I will be ordering this again.

Easy to grip and use, leaves a flat smooth surface, Silicone is good quality. Very pleased with this product.

I bought this item as an art tool in using oils, however since using it twice, I have now damage to the edge. I know that it’s general use is for baking, hence my 4stars.
