Cured Dandruff I’ve Had For 7 Years
We tried so many products- head & shoulders, nizoral, nexus, baby shampoo, pine tar shampoo, fermented soap nut probiotic shampoo, homemade shampoo, raw ACV, black seed oil, the list goes on. This is the ONLY product that I’ve successfully used to eliminate dandruff while simultaneously leaving my ends hydrated and frizz-free after months of relentless vinegar rinses and sun exposure. I have medium length, 2C hair that tends toward oily roots and dry, frizzy ends. My winning combo is:🥥Raw, unrefined cold pressed organic Coconut oil (not the fractionated kind- it left my hair thin and greasy. I though that coconut oil was detrimental until I tried the real thing)-I rub a peanut sized amount in my palms and distribute over my hair, focusing on the ends. Do NOT allow the oil to touch your scalp- it will take ages to remove the oily residue. I leave it in for a day (sometimes longer, it absorbs easily- doesn’t leave your hair oily like every other I’ve tried). And Then:🫧Wash with Carina Organics Shampoo. I transferred some of it into a squeeze type silicone bottle for easy application. Apply DIRECTLY to the scalp- no lathering on the palms. It needs to get to where it is most needed. Massage the scalp gently for a minute or so, focusing on problem areas. Leave it in for a couple of minutes to work its magic. PS: it lathers WONDERFULLY! Rinse out thoroughly. I’d like to note that my hair feels Very smooth when I rinse- sometimes frighteningly so. It feels squeaky when I move my hair around to rinse the roots. Don’t mind it- just get the water directly to the scalp. I prefer using cold water (gives a nice minty-fresh cooling sensation), but it can depend on your climate, tolerance level, and health conditions.*Note: I don’t use the Carina Organics conditioners because they contain Cetyl Alcohol- do research on the EWG website for more info on this ingredient.Drying Off: I use a plain old Cotton towel to dry. Don’t rub your hair all around- using the towel, gently squeeze your hair from top to bottom. Take your time. After enough drying to not drip water over the floor, your hair should feel damp but dry. At this point:🥥Coconut Oil: I rub a pea- sized amount over my palms to distribute over my hair. I find it easier to part my hair into two sections, and oil each separately. I do not oil the roots of my hair, or my scalp- I see that it tends to promote dandruff. Focus on the length of your hair, and the tips. You can do these oil touch-ups when your hair is asking- just don’t overdo it. I got excited with oil… and it wasn’t nice.-Brush? : I would only brush or comb your hair BEFORE washing- I would not recommend while your hair is damp, because your hair is far more likely to be damaged and/or fall out. I rarely brush my hair since it is usually braided, which keeps it protected. I also do not use a scalp brush- some people like them, but remember that hair follicles ( the “hole” in which each individual hair is planted) cannot be repaired. When they are damaged, they’re damaged forever. I find that clipped, gentle fingertips are enough to massage the scalp during shampooing. That is pretty much it. This is the first product I’ve tried from Carina Organics, and the results prove for themselves. A bonus is that this shampoo formula is rated a 1 on the EWG database. This means that from a scale of toxicity- 1 being the least toxic, and 10 being the most toxic, this shampoo is one of the safest and most natural ones you can find. Thank you, Carina Organics, for bringing this remarkable product into being. I hope this review helps someone.

Well…
It doesn’t suds up well but I’m guessing that’s because of the natural ingredients. I think it’s keeping my dandruff at bay though.

Little expensive but so far it's working
Bought this because it's ewg certified and in the winter my scalp gets so dry and flaky. I have super sensitive skin and it's not bothering me. The first two washes it made my head itchy when it wasn't before but I've been using it over a month now and it's fine. I definitely notice a difference I went on vacation and had a different shampoo while gone and my head was so dry and flaky it was noticable just looking at it. But after using coconut oil and this shampoo once it's getting back to normal

This is terrible , it didn’t do anything for my scalp. I feel like it just created build up . Doesn’t work for dandruff

100/100
Love love love. Nothing bad in it. Simple, healthy, minimal ingredients. It feels amazing on my scalp. It cleans without overdosing. It got a score of 100/100 on the Yuka app, which is the highest you can get. (It means there aren't any unhealthy ingredients.) Also, one of the ingredients is apple cider vinegar, but you can't even smell it. I despise the smell of vinegar so I would not be using it if I could smell even the tiniest trace of it.

Carina organic shampoo
Please invest in shampoos because hair is an indicator of health and well-being. Scalp health is probably one of the most overlooked and underrated part of our lifestyle in comparison with our nutrition or skincare. Carina organics shampoos are my go to for healthy scalp and therefore gorgeous sleek and shiny hair.I also don’t have extremely oily hair and wash my hair 2-3 times per week so they last pretty long

Throw out your TGel
This stuff is great! TGel, TSal, selson blue and all the others .. made my scalp burn and hurt. I was at my wits end with needing help for my scalp and this was the magic potion.

DO NOT BUY unless you want to be bald!
My previous shampoo had toxic ingredients so i bought this one after doing research and it was shown as one of the “healthiest”. Switching to this shampoo is the only thing I changed in my daily/weekly routine as I only wash my hair 2-3 times a week. I have very thick hair (thank goodness) and used it for a month, and I’m not exaggerating when I say this, I lost at least 1/3 of my hair. I’d wash my hair and lose a handful at a time. At first, my stupid self wasn’t sure if it was this shampoo but i decided to use a different one twice and immediately stopped losing hair through washing and throughout the day. I’m not sure if anyone else has had this problem but I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this product!!
