BEST UNIVERSAL CONTROLLER !!!
tldr; AMAZING! great quality and 0 lag! Below is an in depth review! Amazing! The pairing is extremely easy and compatible with everything I use consistently! There are two pairing modes, the provided 2.4G USB and bluetooth. It is compatible with Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, & PC and regarding inputs there is little to no lag. The controllers battery is really good and I don't have to constantly charge it just to have a good gaming experience. The texture of the controller is very sleek and comfortable to hold, it doesn't absorb sweat or get dirty easily in general which is great for all the gamers out there who snack while gaming! The provided cord isn' long enough for most charging however the battery makes up for it, the charging port is a USB C port which means that you can easily swap out the provided cord with a much longer USB C cord! The controller has additional trigger buttons that are mappable which is very useful! Overall, highly recommend this controller! I am obsessed with it!!

Works great on PC - feels just like an xbox controller
Excellent controller. I was looking to replace my old xbox one/PC controller I've been using for years. At first I was hesitant to purchase the 8Bitdo controller - because for the price and with more buttons, would it feel cheaper in the hand or be too complicated to use or would the new buttons get in the way? I am happy to say this controller was not at all any less quality, feel, or play ability than an xbox controller. It feels just the same in the hand, and as a bonus it recharges instead of needing to eat through batteries. I am very satisfied and happy with the controller. I also do not have bluetooth on my PC, so it was great to have the wireless 2.4 option. Been playing The Witcher 3 with this controller, and everything responds very smoothly. The only complaint I have is that I picked the "green" controller, but after seeing it next to my other white/blue keyboard and mouse, I wish I had picked a different color. But that's my own doing. 100% recommend this controller to anyone looking for a PC controller.

Pretty good quality for the price!
This is a great controller for the price. Buttons are smooth, they feel just the right amount of clicky and I really don't feel any latency when playing with it even though this control is wireless. Setup is simple enough, just plug and play with the dongle that comes with it. Control seems of high enough quality even for the price. Feels great to play with. This was a gift for my sister, so seeing her enjoy it without coming to me about any issues means the control just works. I haven't noticed any stick drift on PC and gameplay feels smooth with it, whether it's emulation or any steam game. Haven't, and will most likely not try this controller outside of a PC environment.

Works As Intended (1 Year Review).
06/29/2026 Update: After the 6-8 month windows the controller would randomly shut down during use. Updated the firmware (bit of a pain because the software only liked certain USB ports, likely chipset dependent on motherboard) and it works fine again. Probably some OS update that stopped pinging USB devices not signed as mouse/keyboard or something after a period of time and had nothing to do with 8BitDo. I tend to leave long-winded reviews, but I'll try to be concise here since there's only so much to really comment on. I review any item that works as intended at 4 stars because, if an item exceeds expectations, there is no other way to define that with a basic star rating. The controller works under Steam, PCSX2 and DuckStation, though it requires some poking around in settings to be fully recognised. Plug-and-play would have been nice but, with how many controller companies exist, it makes sense that some minor setup would be required. I couldn't get it to be recognised under PCSX or PCSXR, though. Maybe just user error. The shell is decent quality, though there is one spot that's a little sharp on the grip. That would just be unit dependent. A file of some sort would fix it quickly enough if I cared. There was no stick drift out of the box, though I felt that setting the Joystick Dead Zone to 6000 in Steam felt more responsive. User and game preference, I suppose. On a single occasion it powered itself off during active use (in PCSX2) despite having charge. Could have been several factors and I'd have to test more to develop an idea of what may be the issue. If I find out, I'll likely update this review.

Better than PS/XBOX for PC
Absolutely blown away by the quality of this controller for only $26! It came packaged well and the accessories (3ft cable and dongle) are color-matched to the controller! Build quality seems great; there's enough heft so it doesn't feel hollow and all the buttons are satisfying to press. I love that the controller has haptics!! They make gaming more immersive and are exactly what I was looking for as someone who used a DualShock previously! There is one little sharp edge at the seam where the front plastic meets the rear plastic on the left grip, but your palm would never normally touch this area during regular use. Setup was as simple as plugging the dongle in and turning the controller on. It was instantly recognized by Windows/Steam and I was able to start playing games. It uses USB-C for charging and has Bluetooth/wired compatibility. I only have about 10 hours or so on this controller, so time will tell for durability, but first impressions have been wonderful! I genuinely think this controller far outperforms my PS4 controller for less than half the cost!

A Controller That Looks Nice, Feels Nice, and Works Without Issue
Honestly, I really enjoy using this controller and would highly recommend it. To put it simply, this controller doesn't only look nice, but it also feels nice and works without any issues on everything I've tried it on so far, including my Windows PC and Linux Steam Deck. I appreciate that there are a lot of different color options available, too. I now have it in two colors, and I can attest that the controllers are solid quality. The buttons are always responsive and precise. I've never had any connectivity issues, and appreciate that I can use it both wired and wireless. The provided cord is a good length to use at a desktop PC, however you may need something longer if you'd like to play on your TV from the couch. Sure, more flashy controllers with RGB lighting and such do exist, but honestly this controller is definitely a solid pick, especially if you're on a budget or a more casual gamer like myself.

Their best controller yet!
I've owned some version of most 8bitdo controllers over the course of many years and every time a new model comes out, they improve on it in some way. The last one I was using is the Ultimate Bluetooth Controller for Switch/PC/etc. It was their first (I think) to include hall effect joysticks and has served me well. However, one of my long-standing complaints was that there were no anti-friction rings around the thumbsticks, so the feel was a little rough. I saw this finally had some and wanted to give it a try. In terms of general form factor, it's more of the same, which is a good thing. The biggest difference is that there are no back buttons on this one; there are still extra buttons, they're just moved up to the top and act as secondary bumpers. I have no issue with this as they are still easy to reach, but if you have smaller hands, that could be a problem. It also means that you are giving your index fingers another button to push instead of using your middle or ring fingers that otherwise don't do anything, but ultimately I see this as a sidegrade, not really an up or downgrade. A lot of other things have changed, though. This one has clicky bumpers, just like an Xbox controller, anti-friction rings around the (hall effect) thumbsticks that are buttery smooth, and a clicky d-pad, again like an Xbox controller. Except... it's not THAT clicky. It's more similar to their usual rubber dome d-pad, but with a slight click. The best of both worlds, really: the general feel of a rubber dome d-pad, but with the tactile authority and accuracy of a clicky one. I absolutely love it. Although the more I use it, I've noticed that it is a little too easy to hit up while pressing left or right whereas hitting down requires a bit more intention. I wish up required the same intention as it makes up diagonals a little too easy to trigger on accident. This seems to be more of an issue if, like me, you tend to press down hard because you're INTENSE GAMING. If you can manage to commit to a lighter touch, it does not seem to be as much of an issue. The face buttons don't use this mushy/clicky feel, though, probably to save money. They are a bit louder than the other controller but on par with an Xbox controller. I do wish they'd used the same tech as the d-pad, though, as it's really satisfying. The biggest downgrades are that this does not include, nor is it compatible with, a charging dock. I wish it had the contacts so it was at least compatible, but it's not a huge deal. It also doesn't seem to work with the Ultimate Software, instead having you remap the L4 and R4 buttons on the controller itself. This works fine, but does mean you can't rebind the other buttons. The manual mentions Ultimate Software V2 for firmware updates, but I don't see this software anywhere on the web site, so maybe it's not out yet. Regardless, this controller is half the price of its bigger brother, so it's an understandable cut and honestly not that big of a deal. Oh, and it comes with a color-matched (perfectly, I might add) USB cable, which is just a neat touch. I cannot say enough good things about this controller, it is seriously the best deal out there right now. Just buy one.

Don't bother with any other option at this price.
Before I start this review, I will say this: Get this controller, now. I was in the market for a backup controller, something that maybe wasn't as nice as my ~$70 daily driver, but was still solid enough to play some games at a low price. The 8BitDo UIt 2C has blown every expectation I had of it out of the water, and that is considering the fact I knew a lot of people praised it for being a great low budget option. From the moment I unboxed the 2C, I knew I was in for a treat, I loved the way the buttons felt, the travel on the triggers, the responsiveness of the sticks, everything. The controller itself is made out of plastic, but it by no means feels cheap. The back of the controller has a textured grip that doesn't feel overwhelmingly tacky, the thumbsticks have a nice smooth convex rubber top, with the sides being a rougher, grippier texture that grabs onto your fingers well. The controller is reasonably lightweight without feeling cheaply made, and the shape makes it easy to use during extended play sessions. In terms of the feel in actual gameplay, it is awesome. The hall effect triggers and sticks make tolerances very tight, and it's awesome for durability as you realistically cannot get stick drift like you would with first party controllers that cost double. I've used this controller in all three modes, with 2.4GHz wireless and wired being my favorites. I don't feel any latency at all, even when I'm using bluetooth, which is surprising as that is usually where you experience the most of it. When connected to my PC, Windows just treats it like an Xbox controller, and there is not any setup required. The battery life lasts a very long time, I received it a month ago and I've only had to charge it once. I actually haven't touched my main controller since I started using the 2C, it is that good. I don't know what the wizards at 8BitDo are doing to be able to get this high quality of a product out at such a low cost, but I genuinely hope that they continue with the way they're going. Don't even bother looking at anything else in this price range

Excellent Controller – Great Value for PC and Android Gaming!
I recently purchased the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller for use with my Windows PC and Android devices, and I am thoroughly impressed. Design and Build Quality The controller has a sleek and ergonomic design that feels comfortable during extended gaming sessions. The matte finish provides a good grip, and the build quality is solid, giving it a premium feel despite its affordable price. Performance The 1000Hz polling rate ensures ultra-responsive input, which is noticeable in fast-paced games. The Hall Effect joysticks and triggers offer precise control and are a significant upgrade over traditional potentiometer-based inputs. The remappable L4/R4 bumpers add versatility, allowing for customized control schemes without the need for additional software. Compatibility and Connectivity Connecting the controller to both my PC and Android phone was straightforward. The 2.4G wireless connection is stable, and switching between devices is seamless. The inclusion of a mode switch button simplifies toggling between platforms. Battery Life The battery life is impressive, lasting several days of regular use on a single charge. This longevity makes it a reliable companion for both casual and extended gaming sessions. Conclusion Overall, the 8BitDo Ultimate 2C Wireless Controller offers exceptional value for its price. Its combination of high-end features, solid build quality, and cross-platform compatibility makes it an excellent choice for gamers looking for a versatile and reliable controller. I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a quality gamepad for PC and Android gaming.

Ottima qualità. Migliore rapporto Q/prezzo
Ottimo prodotto. Solido e compatto. Facilmente abbinabile a iPad e tablet.
