When I went to replace my coil springs, I new the bump stops had to be replaced as well. They were pathetic. They resembled the biscuits my mother used to make - only it looked like they had been smashed repeatedly with a hammer! I yanked those suckers out with the strength of Zeus, and replaced them with these babies… Shiny, shimmering black beauties, like they eyes of great white sharks (only much more nurturing). I no longer have to worry about destroying my expensive shocks! Or my expensive life! I could not be happier with these overpriced rubber pucks!1998 Jeep Wrangler - fit like an extremely tight glove!

Easy install. Ive watched youtube vids on bump-stop r&r way overcomplicating this. This can be done readily without removing the coil, nor blocks of wood, no lube... I used a scissor jack for the frame, a bottle-jack on the axle and a 20" crowbar.1) Jack-up Jeep From Frame.2) Jack-Up Axle3) Remove Tire (place tire under jeep for safety)4) Drop Axle to open up coil.5) Remove Existing Bump Stop.6) Insert New Bump Stop through coil.7) Hold with one hand of stop, then use end of crowbar to force stop into position against coil (no need to grease)Raise axle, install tire repeat.

These bump stops easily went on back of 02 Jeep wrangler through the springs. The front spring gaps were a little narrow and a small amount had to be ground off of each bump stop to fit through springs then everything popped on.

The quality on these is nice. Much more dense than the OEM foam type and stiffer as well. They fit just fine although they were a little bit of a pain to get to stay in place. A little dish soap helped get them in the cups but the downside to that was they were slick and the pressure from the cups wanted to squirt them back out. However, once in place I gave them a few twists by hand to add some friction and some pressure from a pry bar and they've stayed put since. Overall nice product and I'd buy again.

Hardest part was removing the old rotten rubber ones. I have a 4 inch lift on my 2006 TJ Rubicon so I couldn’t fit the new bumpstops thru the coils without a jack. Jacked it up a little on the passenger side and it fit thru on both sides with no issue. Used a long 2x2 thru the spring to press the stops into the cup. Popped right in.

Product seems to be of good quality as is all of Energy Suspension products, but this particular item does not fit a Jeep Wrangler TJ as stated, they are to large and do not come close to fitting into the bushing cup. I could be stupid and trying to install them incorrectly but I don't think so.

Super easy to install. I just lubed it up and jammed it in there with my bare hands. As long as you have the right angle to jam it in there, you dont need a press or anything of that sort. Once it gets inserted, it locks into place as the coupler has some indents to bite down onto it.Energy products have yet to disappoint. This is a direct fitment for stock components.
