I used this with my battery pack across the Scandinavia countries. My Otter phone case made it impossible to attach the pack directly to my phone. This cable solved the problem without the need to remove the protective case from my phone.

This cable works for both power and data transfer, as promised by the seller. One thing I noticed is that when connecting an external device to an iPhone that will transfer data to/from the phone, you must first connect the external device to the cable and then connect the cable to the phone. If you connect the cable to the phone before connecting the external device, data transfer doesn't work. The only reason I gave this item 4 stars instead of 5 is that I don't yet know how durable this cable will be. Time will tell.

Like it worked; disliked it seemed I needed to ensure was fully engaged - but for the most part - I have backed up my iphone pics and contacts with the usage so that is a big plus. Thanks.

This connecting cable is exactly what I need to use with my portable phone charger without having to take my phone out of its protective case.

The length is what I wanted, but would not work with my portable charger, total waste of money, for me to return item would cost me time trying to get to a station close to me considering I live in out in the country in a small town which would cause a problem to return item.
