Hymns Ancient and Modern - New Standard Version: Full Music and Words Edition (New Standard Edition)

As a cradle Methodist, there are musical sources I instinctively prefer to anything from the A&M family, but this is a good book for traditional Christians. This particular copy contained pencil annotations which weren't pointed out in the write-up, but they were of a kind that showed the previous owner had been a church organist ('salve' Johannes Higham, if you're out there...)

Arrived quickly (sooner than delivery estimate) well packaged with a friendly note, and excellent condition.This is a more compact traditional hymn book than some, so it stays on the music stand of our piano, and yet the print and layout are very clear.

My church choir's stock of A&M full music and words has diminished over the years until there were not enough to go round. Also some of them were very worn. So I decided to replace them, or buy some more to augment the supply. A bequest given to our church paid for them, or we could not have afforded them. The choir is very pleased with the sparkling new copies!

Much appreciated. In use at the Hospital Chapel. The books for congregation were donated but couldn't be used until we found a music copy. Which we did. Well priced. Good condition too.

As an ordained minister this hymnal is great, I use it every week.

This book looks good the music enclosed makes it a little bit special. Given as a gift it makes a wonderful present for hymn and music lovers

I like this book, but thought that the production of paper to hard back cover "a bit tight"; was this a matter of saving a bit of money?

Not everyone wants a hymn book, I did and this one's fine. Sometimes it's the only way to keep track of those wel loved old favourites.
