I have an odd shape edge on my side table and this cable clip works. I like that I didn't have to glue or tape anything on the table, I just slipped this over the edge of the table. Yes, it does sometimes slip off of the edge. But it easily slips back on. I much prefer that to sticking/taping anything to furniture. I am very happy with this clip.

These clip on to the end of baskets and a desk well, but don't always stay put. On the other hand, the grooves for the actual cables are so hard and stiff I was unable to get a single cable inside the groove. I had to enlist a man with strong hands, who also had to use yet another tool to push the cables into the grooves while trying not to damage the cables. If you can hurdle this obstacle, the cables seem to stay very well - even while the clamp itself continues to slide off the surface it's attached to. Even when it slides off, it does keep the cables bundled since they aren't budging.

I bought them to help manage cords when traveling. They are too big. If they were smaller would work great. I am sure they work fine if using them at home.

These items clamped onto my relatively thin (1/4") glass tabletop, perhaps not as securely as on a thicker, less slippery surface, but they do the job! I have lamp power supply and laptop power supply running through one of these holders on one side of the table and laptop, radio and computer interface on the other side. They do the job, in keeping the cables firmly secured in the holder and out of the way of my work surface and off the floor below. I used the adhesive buttons in the past and found that the adhesive eventually weakened, causing the buttons to release from the surface they were mounted on. Plus, these are very easy to reposition. Great invention!

They don’t hold and fall off of end table easily.

The concept kind of works, but getting your cord in the openings is difficult if you have the woven ones. It fits the vinyl cords.

As other reviewers have pointed out, sometimes these things can slip off the edges. But I've had them for months and it's only happened like 2 times. I have laptop chargers, microphones, speakers, etc all plugged into these things and they're holding strong. They only slip off if I'm rearranging things on my desk (which is rare), but if I'm just plugging in a wire then I've yet to have any problem with that. well worth the low price tag.

I only gave 4 stars because I’m pretty sure I received someone else’s return. Boxes not in best shape, plastic covering cheaply taped and product itself was dirty with white flex all over it. I washed it so it’s fine now. But onto the pros. I didn’t want something that I had to stick with an adhesive so this was a perfect solution. It fits well and I can easily move it and have all my cords readily available rather than scattered on the floor plus I have a spare one. This is worth the purchase and I would recommend.

Stay in place and hold cords where I need them. Good quality.
