It dissolves quickly, leaving no grainy texture behind. While I enjoy it in my lattes, the 300g bag might not be enough if I wanted to follow my friend's lead and bake with it extensively. When I received this item it was a bit smaller than I had first realised and probably won't be used much in recipes, which require larger amounts of sugar, as this will run out fast but as an addition to my morning coffee it is an absolute delight. One thing I have noticed about this Vanilla Sugar is the scent. It is warming and delightful and I have noticed the aroma around the kitchen after use. I love vanilla anyway, but having it as a sugar is a great idea, therefore being able to forgo the vanilla essence when baking. I have only been using this in my coffee and tea so far but I may try adding this to my custard powder when I next make it, as you only need a couple of tablespoons and I imagine the vanilla would be a lovely addition. It is a real treat and a great addition to my drinks, I would certainly purchase this item again.
