Mine Came with #8 screws, need #6 - Burris to the rescue
Need the smaller screws for a Rem 700 ADL. One call to Burris tech support and they are sending the correct ones. Got to love that!

Needed to adapt for a scope mount and this fit my Weatherby Vanguard 243 SA perfectly. Front and back of for and aft pieces line up perfectly with the bolt opening (is that what the opening is called??).

The item is ok but it will probably work for picatinny rings
I brought a pair of picatinny rings and thinking it should work, at least according to the reviews.It turned out that the distance between each slot is not even, this defeated the design purpose of picatinny rings.You can still using picatinny rings but the options for the ring positions will be limited.Weaver rings, on the other hand, will do a good job on these rails.Btw it’s stainless. Be aware if it if this is a concern for you.
