Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty

Present, prescient and provides perspective
From the Introduction of the book, I was impressed by Hillary's viewpoint of our society's challenges. I have not always been aligned with her thinking, but she has an ability to present a view that contains wisdom which comes with age. The book is 'fair minded', balanced and insightful. I think she has been maligned throughout her life based upon people projecting their own mistrust of authority, rather than any substantive disagreement of content.I liked her new insights andnperspective of where we are at Socially, Politically and Culturally. It seemed to be presented with a balanced viewepoint.I laughably ignored many of the bad reviews which are by people who resent what she stands for: fairness, unequal rights for all and the right to live our lives through our personal choices - as long as they don't subvert the rights of others.A good read.

What I look for first
Before purchasing books from Amazon I learned to look to see if the reviewer is a verified purchaser. I received my copy today and so far it’s a great book. Very telling in a professional and heartfelt sort of way, just what I’d expect from this heroine.

4 stars
While it doesn’t reach the heights of her previous two memoirs, it is a good and well constructed story with a lot of good advice from a former nominee

Truth is compelling. This is Neither.
I was hoping she was ready to get some truths off her chest. Maybe next time?
