iPhone memory sorted. ProRes videos 👍🏻
Works perfect. I was sceptical that it would be "that simple" to use and add all that data to my iPhone. But the memory was installed in seconds and simply plug into phone and use for files or for ProRes Videos 👍🏻

Impressive performance
Overall, I've been impressed with this 2230 enclosure. The build quality is great and the housing feels very robust. The performance has also been impeccable irrespective of whether connecting to laptop, PC, phone, or steamdeck - it's all worked without a hitch and upload and download speeds have been very good. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the lack of replicable cable. While the in-built cable does feel very sturdy, the option to swap out the cable for a shorter or longer cable as required would be a great option. It would also make it a bit more environmentally friendly because at the moment if the cable breaks, the whole thing becomes useless.

Small and light - note cable is non removable
Had a spare 22330 NVMe after upgrading the ROG Ally, so figured I might as well use it as an external ssd.I didn't want to get a full caddy, so this was a great alternative - it's light and the right screwdriver was included.Formatted to exFAT the drive works with both Windows and MacOS (plug and play, after formatting obviously).*Possible con*Note the cable is fixed and quite rigid - while you aren't going to misplace it, you will need to account for the lack of rigidity. For a backpack, I would recommend a pocket that is at least twice the length of the drive itself as to not damage the drive.

Easy set up
I am very happy with this product. Easy to set up and get going. When you put your NVME in you just have to initialise it before you can use it.

Fast, but runs quite hot
Connecting this to a suitable USB port will give very fast transfers, but this is also dependent on the NVMe card used. I've paired it with a Corsair MP600 Mini, and although it's not as fast as the internal SSD, it's quite fast enough for an external drive. Installing the drive is easy, with one turn-catch inside and a single screw on the outside of the case to hold it closed. Sabrent even provide a small screwdriver—it's cheap, but it doesn't need to be anything more.Testing sequential writes reaches approximately 800Mb/second, which is slower than the drive is rated for, but would have been considered a really fast internal drive not many years ago. Surprisingly, reads are slightly slower, at around 650-700Mb/second.The one drawback isn't really a comment on the enclosure so much as a drawback of SSDs. It does run fairly hot, with it sitting at over 41°C even when idle, and going up even more when it's used. The enclosure does come with a thermal pad to help the drive shed heat through the (metal) case, but the only way that any enclosure can really run cool is by adding fans. That said, I do wonder about adding a small heatsink to the rear panel! This would at least help to extend the time before the drive gets 'too' hot and starts slowing down in order to protect itself. It's the irony of getting a small enclosure for a small drive, if you then add large thermal solutions on top!Other than that, the cable is a six-of-one, half-a-dozen-of-the-other situation. There are other enclosures which mount directly to the USB port, which may be too wide and block other ports. They may also be more likely to be knocked (and either disconnect or damage the port). With the cable, on the other hand, the enclosure dangles off the port. The cable is quite stiff (all USB cables of this sort of speed will generally be quite stiff in order to meet the cable performance requirements) and as it's short and fixed, the enclosure can't easily be tucked out of the way. A replaceable cable might have been nice in order to give the option of a longer cable, but when sticking to a short length it would probably have been even more clumsy.
