After having my son, I’ve had super sensitive, dry skin basically everywhere. This is one of the best lotions I’ve tried so far! It doesnt irritate my skin, even if I have a cut or bump, and it absorbs and hydrates really fast. It’s a medium thickness, so I definitely feel it on my skin a while but it still feels lightweight and not greasy. I also love that this has no scent, so I can use it when going to sleep and it doesn’t bother my nose or anything.

This product is amazing! My right hand was super dry, itchy and rough. The color was darker due to the dryness. FYI, I live in the desert, AZ. After 2 days using this product, my skin looks much better and it is not itchy anymore. It totally recovered the skin. I just loved it. I hope they don't stop making this product. Such a shame I didn't take pictures of the before, but I attached here the picture of after I started using the CeraVe. My skin now feels smooth, glowing and nice. The product has a mild medicine scent (ointment), which doesn't bother me at all. It just assures to me that they have good ingredients in it. Great value!

Honestly, I think this is actually helping the eczema on my hand. At first, it looked like it was reacting, but now it’s starting to heal. Every lotion seems to flare it up—I can’t ever win with my eczema. Even Cetaphil dried it out more, and most hand soaps make it worse. Dove hand soap seems to be faring well with my hands, thankfully. Maybe I’ll grow out of it someday; it used to be way worse when I was younger. But so far this is working. I’m impressed because it feels really moisturizing. We’ll see how it goes. Update: My eczema hasn’t flared up at all—my hands look great, and they are happy! I’m really grateful to have finally found a high-quality lotion that my skin agrees with. Yuka also gives this lotion a good rating, which makes me even happier with this CeraVe so far. I do avoid using it on my face and possibly neck because it causes a slight burning sensation there, but my hands seem to love it and actually tolerate it, and that’s exactly what I was hoping for! I’ve used the standard CeraVe Daily Lotion for years, but this Intensive Moisturizing version is in a completely different league for extreme dryness. If you deal with that uncomfortable "tight" feeling or seasonal itching, this formula makes a massive difference. Performance & Texture: Deep Hydration without the Grease: Despite being a "rich" lotion with Shea Butter, it doesn't sit on top of the skin. It sinks in almost immediately. I can put my jeans on right after applying it without that sticky, tacky feeling. Targeting Roughness: I specifically noticed a difference in redness and flaking on my shins and elbows. It doesn't just mask the dryness; it feels like it’s actually repairing the skin barrier. Fragrance-Free & Gentle: As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciate that it’s pH-balanced and fragrance-free. There’s no stinging, even on areas that are slightly irritated from the cold. Smooth Formula: I’ve used other intensive creams that felt "gritty" or heavy. This formula is incredibly smooth and feels much more like a premium cosmetic product while delivering serious hydration.

The best cheap moisturizer. It is lightweight and you only need to use a small amount to cover your face. It does a great job at hydrating my face despite being lightweight.

I’ve never used a more moisturizing lotion than this. I apply it after I shower and my skin still feels smooth and hydrated the next day. I have very dry skin but self tan quite frequently and would constantly struggle with that “snake skin” look and texture. Once I began using this lotion consistently, my skin looks flawless up until exfoliation and re-application day. I had some ultra dry patches on my arm as well that are now completely gone. Love this stuff.

Cerave Intensive Moisturizing Lotion has changed my quality of life in 2 days! I wanted to scratch every last inch of skin off of my body due to itching from dryness. I was diagnosed with atopic dermatitis in December this year (in the lower than average cold of winter in PA), but this lotion has me thinking that dx may not have been accurate, or the lotion just works that well. Keep in mind, I have only used this lotion for 2 days and my skin is calm and smooth with no dryness or itching! I have used Cerave products for many years because my dermatologist recommended them, but as I age, I needed something more moisturizing for winter. I can now sleep at night and go about my daily routine without thinking about my itchy skin. It is lightweight and easy to apply. I can tolerate a tiny bit of greasiness and a slight scent (although not really unpleasant) for the first half hour after application, because this moisturizer is healing my skin!

As someone that suffers from vesicular eczema on the back of my hands, this product by CeraVe really worked to help get my skin more clearer and smoother. Since using this lotion daily, I haven’t had to use the other cream that my doctor prescribed to me that much. I will say that it is not as greasy compared to Aveeno cream. For a while I had used Aveeno eczema therapy cream before, but it just was not very effective for calming down the irritation on my hands. CeraVe has really helped clear up my skin, and now, thankfully, I have been able to go more than a few days without having any flareups or irritated skin. I definitely recommend the 16 ounce bottle for long-term use, definitely is worth it. However, I must give feedback to both Amazon and CeraVe as this product is way too expensive. while in the long run for me, this was worth it and really helped, I definitely don’t agree with the price and feel that this product should cost much less. Amazon and CeraVe please make these products more affordable. People should not have to pay so much for something they genuinely do need. Other than that, on arrival the product thankfully came in good condition. Thank you Amazon for providing me with an overall good experience.
