I loved all the colors i used the 4.5mm hook that came with the kit for this project. And two different color yarn. Its so soft perfect for the amigurumi plushes. Only issues i had with it is thatnit does fray easily but probably because of softness. I am just a beginner at crochet so there may be trick I havent learned to prevent that yet. This project also almost used one whole roll of yarn i definitely think it was worth it.

The yarn is very soft and the colors are really good. There’s all sorts of doodads to help you start on projects including crochet hooks and yarn needles. It would be nice if it had some project ideas and if a suggested hook size was printed on the bands of the yarn. It would also be nice to Have the option to buy these colors by themselves in more quantity. Each skin is about 100 yards.

This yarn is very soft and workable for my amigurami projects. The stitches are nice and tight for stuffing. I would have given it 5 stars, but if you make a mistake and have to pull out stitches, it tends to separate a little making it difficult to draw through a second time with a 2nm crochet hook. But, I will order it again. Beautiful colors and stays soft!

LOVE the variety of colors here! The quality is nice too. We're using it for kid crafts, so it's perfect for that. The kids have lots of colors to choose from and this set will go a long way for us. If you're looking for large skeins, this isn't the set for you, but if you need a decent amount of a lot of colors, this is a great set.

These are smaller than another set I got for my friend that was basically the same deal and same brand but she found uses for them. They were half of her hand in size.

This worked great to crochet a small stuffed toy

Love the colors, and just the right size for mini projects. But, there were a few knots tied into the skeins, kind of irritating...

Dieses Set ist mit knapp 20€ ja nicht gerade billig, liefert aber immerhin Einiges. Neben 12 Knäuel Wolle zwei Häkelnadeln, Maschenmarkierer, Sticknadeln, vieles an Bastelzubehör (Ringe, Haarspangen, etc.) und sogar zwei Stäbe Heißkleber. Auf den ersten Blick ein tolles Set, aber irgendwie ist die Zusammenstellung nicht so hundertprozentig sinnvoll. Und der Profi erkennt Schwächen.Die Wolle:- tolle, kräftige, fröhliche Farben, gute Mischung, von allem was dabei!- die wichtigsten Farben sind dabei und das Spektrum somit gut abgedeckt (schwarz, weiß, rot, blau, grün, gelb, lila...)- schön weich!- nicht zu dünn, daher für Anfänger gut geeignet- Nadelstärke????? Angabe auf Baderole fehlt! Ich würde schätzen für Häkelnadeln ca. 3,5- besteht aus 5 einzelnen Strängen, die sehr locker gedreht sind und sich leider sehr leicht aufdröseln...- Angabe des Materials fehlt! Sicher nicht 100% Baumwolle.- auf einem kurzen Stück Wolle begegneten mir leider gleich 2 Materialfehler!!! (ein unschönes großes Knötchen und eine Stelle, an der die Wolle defekt und aufgefasert war (she. Fotos). Das ist sehr schade! Von außen konnte ich sonst an keinem der Knäuel Defekte erkennen, aber wer weiß was innen schlummert.- man fädelt sehr leicht ein...Die Wolle ist schon schön, aber mich stört, dass auf der Banderole keinerlei Angaben über Nadelstärke, Lauflänge, Gewicht, oder Material vorhanden ist! Das ist extrem unprofessionell.Auf der Banderole sind Baumwoll-Blüten abgebildet, was für mich suggerieren soll, dass es Baumwolle ist. Aber es ist eben keine fundierte Angabe über Materialbeschaffenheit zu finden. Das geht mal gar nicht!Nadeln / Nadelstärke:Beigefügt ist eine Nadel der Stärke 2,5 und eine in 4,5. Ich finde ja, die 2,5er ist zu dünn und die 4,5er zu dick... Mein Favorit für diese Wolle wäre am ehesten was dazwischen, also 3,5!Hier waren keine Profis am Werk. Man hat einfach irgendwas zusammengeworfen. Nunja, dem Anfänger reicht das. Der Fortgeschrittene hat ja eh sein eigenes Werkzeug und mehr Erfahrung...Ich habe beispielhaft mit der Wolle ein kleines Test-Häkelstück mit der 2,5er-Nadel gefertigt und dann noch eines mit der 4,5er - siehe Fotos!Es geht schon beides. Angenehmer fand ich dann letztlich doch die 4,5er-Nadel. Das ging schneller von der Hand. Dennoch, das Häkelstück wurde so relativ luftig und löchrig.Die Nadeln an sich sind einfache Metallhäkelnadeln, in zwei wie ich finde sehr schönen Farben. Die Lackierung und Qualität ist völlig in Ordnung. Ich persönlich mag es mehr, wenn die Nadeln einen Silikon-Griff haben, das finde ich griffiger. Diese hier sind schon sehr glatt und rutschen schnell mal aus den Fingern, vor allem die dünne Nadel. Aber das ist ja Geschmackssache. Für Anfänger und zum Testen völlig ok!das Zubehör:nunja, ich bin schon verwirrt. Was genau soll man nun damit anfangen? Klar, auf den ersten Blick: Haarspängerchen mit Blümchen etc. verschönern, Schlüsselanhänger häkeln, etc. Aber dafür finde ich die Wolle zu dick! Ich habe ein kleines, wirklich sehr einfaches Blümchen gehäkelt und das ist für die kleinen schwarzen Haarklämmerchen schon zu groß und wuchtig. Also kleine, filigrane Kunstwerke schafft man mit dieser Wolle nicht! Dafür würde ich immer 2er oder 2,5er Wolle nehmen...Das Blech-Zubehör wirkt recht billig, aber man kann es nehmen. Ich werde es nicht nutzen, mir ging es um die Wolle.Die Haargummis bekommt meine Tochter, ohne Häkelzeug dran. =)Die Maschenmarkierer sind ok, die Üblichen halt.Die Heißklebe-Stifte habe ich bisher nicht benötigt.Ich würde den Wert dieses Sets eher bei so ca. 15 € ansetzen. Und für Anfänger einordnen.Ehrlich gesagt bin ich froh, dass ich dieses Set zum Testen kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellt bekommen habe. Ansonsten wäre ich etwas mehr enttäuscht. Meine Rezension beeinflusst dieser Hintergrund natürlich nicht.Ich würde es nur eingeschränkt empfehlen.

This kit was a little bit strange, in all honesty.The wool was fine. It felt very much like your typical acrylic yarn. The balls were a little small, in my opinion, but they'll do for a simple starting set I guess. The crochet hooks that came with it were also fine, though the sizes aren't exactly "standard" - a lot of the crochet I do (amigurumi) uses 3.5 mm hooks with this DK Yarn, but you get a 4.5mm and a 2.5mm. Whatever, they'll do.The accessories is where it got weird. The needles were fine and expected, as were the stitch markers. I suppose the hair bobbles could be used for crochet scrunchies? I've no clue about the rest though. It didn't feel like there was any conclusive idea behind it, especially since there were no project ideas included - I have no idea how they expect me to use the wool and the hair clips together.For £20, I'd rather not. You can get a simple crochet kit for a couple of quid at Aldi, and at least then you've got a project to do (instructions, stuffing, hook, etc included) and a pattern to keep and repeat as and when you want. This is just a weird hodgepodge of supplies and small quantities of yarn.

Usual quality of Acrylic yarn found on the market; a plastic needle and a metal needle; 2 crochet hooks and some markers or stitch holders. These are all the things that I would expect to come with the wool but inexplicably the set also comes with keyrings; badge backs; Sheppard's hook earring top; hair ties; some kind of pin thing; two types of hair clips and two sticks of glue for a hot glue gun, I really don't know what they have to do with wool and rather they weren't there and the set was a bit cheaper. Nothing is of the highest quality, but as a set to keep the kids occupied there is plenty but I would also have liked to have seen some patterns for what to do with the wool, especially since they've included keyrings and badge backs etc, I'd like to know what was going through their minds when putting this set together. I particularly like the little markers, no more using scrap bits of wool for place marking; they would also be good for holding a small amount of stitches for later; I'd say you could probably squeeze on up to around 8 stitches by using both sides, so these would be great for knitting gloves, plus the bright colour mix would also be great for stripy gloves or mittens. There's plenty in the set but I think it's over-priced at £18.99, at the time of writing this review.
