It holds 13 litres. This bag is quite a good size but I also bought art satchel which is 21 litres. Looks the same only bigger and holds more when taking on holiday for example with room to spare. The art mini I took on holiday and it holds lots but it's a tight fit with iPad travel docs book etc which is why I bought the bigger one. Art mini great for everyday hand bag. I love them both. **Q: What is the measurement of shoulder strap** A: I dont know it exactly but it is long enough to wear cross body. All kipling bags have very long straps that extend. **Q: What is the handle length** A: Hi. The shorter handles are 18 inches or 45 and a half cm long and the shoulder strap is 50 inches or 127 cm long in total, but you can shorten it to about 25 inches or 63 cm or anywhere inbetween on a sliding ring. It is a really lovely bag and holds quite a lot. Expensive, but you really get what you pay for and it's worth every penny.
