HOWEVER, I would have to agree with the other reviews in saying they are SO uncomfortable. I am not normally a wide in the foot (just wide calf) and these just seem so narrow. But they only had 8 or 9 in the wide calf brown color. I recieved the 8 today and it fits but it is pressing on the top of my toes on my right foot and feel uncomfortable. So i am waiting for the 9 and hopefully that will not feel huge on my foot. 8.5 probably would of been perfect but it was sold out. Calf wise it is a little big but that is okay. It can fit my other pants better. I have plenty of boots that i can only wear skinny jeans with. I just want a comfortable boot that can be wiped off. I will update when i get the size 9.Okay update: the 9 is a little big but over all fits fine. The wide calf 8.5 would of been perfect i think but it was out. However I also order 8.5 in a black normal (not wide calf) there is a rather good size difference calf wise between wide and not wide. I think I like the wide better over all gives a little moving room for your leg with the type of style boot. But i like both the black 8.5 reg calf and the 9 wide calf. The 9 wide will be perfect with heavier socks for sure. I am keeping both and returning the 8 brown wide calf. For some reason that boot felt so hard and dug into the top on foot. I do not have that probably with the 8.5 or the 9 boots i got.So in the pictures the black are 8.5 regular calf. The brown are 9 wide calf. You can definitely see a difference int he calf sizing. The brown are much easier to get on I will size having extra room just makes taking off and putting on easier.Update: I worn my black boots for a few days already and starting to notice my heel on the boot it already peeling. Super disappointing They are comfortable and cute but i have not even had them for a month and already peeling apart...Hopefully my other pairs will not peel especially so quickly. They are easy to get on and off. Easy to wipe off. But wont be good if they all fall apart so quickly. I ordered a couple pairs prior to knowing my heel was going to peel. So hopefully that pair was a dud.Update 2/16/2016 the 9 wide calf is perfect for winter. I can easily fit any of my pant leg in the boot, even sweat pants for brushing off the car. Plus the 9 is big i can easily double up and wear 2 pairs of socks to keep my feet warm. I ended up ordering a 9 wide calf in black also. They wipe off easily and so far no water or snow gets in my boots either. So in the end i like both wide calf and regular. I like the regular for dresser look that is still comfortable. Plus my regular ones are size 8.5. Yes my heel on the one pair is ruined already but for now still able to be worn. But my wide calf size 9 so far i have no issues with my heel wearing down.
