Great size EDC flashlight with plenty of lumens
This flashlight will make a great, dependable flashlight that is comfortable to carry in your pocket from day to day. This is my third flashlight from Thrunite (the others being a TC12 V2 & TH10 V2), and feel equally satisfied with the quality and affordability of the T1.It has a floody type beam which works perfectly fine in short range, but I don't feel it will get the same kind of distance as thrower light like my TC12 V2 does, but for my uses, it'll work perfectly. I purchased the neutral white tint which I feel has a bit of a yellow tint to it, but to me it is more pleasant to look at than the cooler white lights. The UI is fairly simple and in line with other similar flashlight models. The button feels a bit spongier than other flashlights I've handled, and it took me a little bit to realize it required a little firmer press to cycle through the modes than I expected. At first I wasn't getting it to cycle correctly, but once I became familiar with the feel of the button, everything was working perfectly for me with a firmer press. I really enjoy the stepless ramping of the brightness, rather than having set levels that can sometimes be too dark or too bright. The magnetic tail base is great feature to have, especially when both hands are required for what you may be working on. It feels strong enough to support the weight of the flashlight with no concern.I can easily see this light taking the place of my TC12 V2 as my EDC!

A great replacement for your EDC flashlight.
I’m a flashlight collector. And this flashlight I bought to add to my collection. When I ordered it, I noticed that it was just very well built. It felt solid in my hand, very easy to use, and the brightness in settings were perfect. I got excited so I ordered the second one to use as my EDC. They also make a smaller version which you can see in the pictures. I bought that one as well and it works just the same. Of course the battery life is a little bit shorter, but hey, it’s a great little flashlight. Overall, everything on these flashlight are well built with the user in mind. Personally, I think this has become my new favorite flashlight to use out in the field.

Small, Mighty, and Super Bright!
Don't let the small size fool you; this flashlight is a beast! This flashlight has a max brightness of 1500 lumens, which is more than enough light to get the job done when you need to throw some serious light around. The 1/2 lumen firefly mode is just enough light to shine on the ground when walking around in the dark without waking up sleeping campers or a sleeping wife back at home. The flashlight also features a lockout mode, so it doesn't get activated while in your pocket. Press and hold the side button for 3 seconds. The button will flash red, and the light will not turn on when you press the button. To unlock the light, press and hold the button for 3 seconds. The firefly mode will confirm that the light is now unlocked.Once unlocked, you can access the firefly mode by holding the button for one second. Press and hold the button to ramp up and then down the brightness to whatever level you need. The range is a low of 15 to a high of 685 lumens. A single click remembers the last brightness level you selected from the 15-685 range. A double click activates the turbo mode, and a triple-click activates the 550 lumens strobe mode.It has a removable clip that you can clip the light to the bill of a hat or velcro it to your backpack for hands-free lighting (Velcro strap not included). With all of those features, plus a magnetic tail cap and a micro USB charging port, and you have yourself the perfect IPX-8 waterproof mini flashlight. If you're looking for a small or magnetic flashlight for a great price, you can't go wrong with the ThruNite T1! I use this as my backup to my ThruNite TC12 V2 that I carry every day. I also use it whenever I go camping. Get yourself one today. You'll be glad you did!Now with all that being said, there are a few things I would improve with this light:1. Change the port to a USB-C. Most phones are now using USB-C cables, so this would be one less cord to carry around.2. Texturize the button so it can be felt in the dark. The button is smooth and hard to locate in a hurry.3. Make the button glow in the dark and have the light charge the glow to see the button in the pitch black. It would also make the flashlight visible if you dropped it in the dark. What good is a flashlight if you can't find it in the dark?

Great small, and bright torch in a crowded market
I am starting to build up an inventory of torches for various tasks, hiking, k9 walking :), late night bumps in the night, for the cars, etc. I have brands like Surefire, 4Sevens, Maglites, Olight along with many unknown brands. With exception of Surefire and a few others, most are manufactured offshore. I prefer made in the USA unless those brands cannot match the price/features I'm looking for.I decided to purchase the ThruNite T1 for walks in the night. It's has plenty of power for its size and it doesn't get too hot, but I do try and limit the "turbo" for less than 30 seconds.Build quality is fantastic, it fits good in my hand. I have medium sized mitts :). The reversible clip is very strong for its size and I can clip to my ballcap in a pinch. The battery is a rechargable unit and I like not having to pull the battery out for charging. Some peeps mentioned that the control button can be hard to find, but I don't find that the case. It's just a matter of getting used to feel of the unit overall. The UI is top notch and I managed to figure-out the controls quickly. I like the candlelight mode can be turned on by holding the button for 3 seconds from the off mode and turbo from a double click. Lockout is good too for backpack storage travel or your pocket.Overall I highly recommend this small EDC torch. The only reason I knock one star off because of the price.
