These Kirkland dryer sheets have a very pleasant scent that is compatible with the various detergents and liquid softeners on the market. BE AWARE! Costco JUST changed their packaging (2/2015) and with the exterior packaging change came a new scent! I find it obnoxious and incompatible with what I have been using for the past 30+ years of doing laundry. If you enjoy this older scent, buy up as much up of the older stock as you can or start looking for a new brand.

I have been using this for about 1 1/2 years. The lint in my dryer has been adhering to the lint filter and around the filter. There is a sticky feel and looks dirty around the filter. I just realized it was the Kirkland Signature Softener Sheets causing the problem. I have not used them for almost two weeks and definitely notice the difference. The lint is normal and not adhering to or around the lint filter.

When I do the laundry I always throw a fabric-softening sheet into the dryer. It seems to make the laundry less clingy and supplies a very light fragrant scent to the fabrics. I've used many different brands over the years but have permanent settled in on Kirkland Signature sheets which we purchase at out local warehouse club store. I switched to this brand after Consumer Reports rated them highly and gave them a Best Buy label. We've been very satisfied and the cost per sheet is absolutely rock bottom. I particularly like the fact that they are only very lightly scented and a drying sheet odor is not readily apparent on the dried items. A few other brands are a bit overwhelming. At 246 sheets, one box of these will last a long, long time.Gary Peterson

I bought these because the description said they were lightly scented and I am adverse to strong smells. I use them for my husband's clothes and they work quite well at keeping them soft and static free.
