Perfect repair kit

He - well, not worked on one of these heaters before, nor owned diesel heater before. I replaced components within a couple of months of use of heater. Glow plug burnt out, due to poor choice of batteries and insulation of heater itself. This product was easy to use, although only some of the parts were used. Immediately, removed fault displayed after replacing glow plug. Didn’t used the gauze as not as a clean finished as old one, so used old gauze. Not really used campervan, or heater other than when charging starter and leisure batteries through the winter, and set heater to around 20C at that time. One example, heater was running for 6 hrs continuous, plugged in to mains. When not plugged in, the heater wouldn’t last more than around 2 hours given power bank, until the fault glow plug prohibiting any function of heater, not a reflection on new product, which resolved the issue to be back in function. I am not intending to use heater (product) until power bank upgraded and expanded, hence work in progress review and timeline and use. Hope you gain some value from this lived experience of limited use of this product in function, for you to be able to make an informed decision.

I haven't used this yet but seems to be of a good quality, the tools look like they'll come in handy... Removing old gauzes is a fiddly job. I keep this in my campervans toolkit along with a spare temperature sensor and fuel pump. It's a good idea to have these spares to hand incase of any breakdowns.

There are plenty of these around. I’ve bought as a spare to keep just incase. All the tools that are needed for the flow plug change are needed.
