Great to take out as extra protection to the elements. Drawstring hood is good. Keep hood on head.

Haven't had a chance to test the product yet. Of the two that arrived one is ok, however one has a big scratch mark and some unknown white substance spilled on the back. I can't return it for a refund as I need it this week and replacement wouldn't arrive in time. Not great to have to wear it with a big white stain on the back

These are perfect to put in your bag when walking your dog. With our weather being unpredictable these are a must.

So my review is based on my observations of inspecting and trying them on, instead of experience in bad weather.For "disposable" ponchos, these are perfectly adequate. In fact, they're pretty good quality and could conceivably be worn many times. The edges/hems are well done and the snaps are well constructed. I tried to rip one and the plastic just stretched.I'm a 5'11" woman and I weigh about 260 lbs. It's very wide and comfortable, as shown, and it comes down to just above my knees.I only wish that the hood was bigger. The listing photos only show the hood up once, and I'd say it's a pretty acurate portrayal of how big it is. I can pull the drawstring closed and it will cover my entire forehead, but my face is completely exposed. If I put my thick hair in a pony tail or bun, though, it might not even be able to cover my hairline.
