It has become increasingly difficult to anticipate all of the differing connections possibilities you will encounter as you travel. The same challenges face us at home. This unit allows great flexibility in making two or more units work together.I have an older iPhone (7) two iPads and two iWatches. Connecting these to my computers and TV as well as my autos can be a nightmare. When I travel and stay with friends or a hotel, I never know what I will encounter by way of connectivity. Older motels are not updated for electronics. But since they play such an integral part of out lives, it is essential to our lives. Most of my Apple stuff is still based on Lightning plugs and sockets. My iWatches use the C plugs. It is my intention to purchase an IPhone 16 Pro Max when it is released. Being able to download photos from the phone to the cloud or to a standalone memory drive will be enhanced by allowing me to photograph in "Raw" format without exhausting the memory on the phone.One further advantage is the ability to allow my friends to connect their Android items to a computer.This goes into a travel case I have with cables, adaptors and multi-tap power strips. This is a vary handy tool to have. You can connect to the world. Good product.

I'm trying to use an old phone for a project of mine and I wanted to have easy access to power and audio in case I needed it. Unfortunately, it seems that the usb A and C ports don't work as I expected them too. The usb A port cannot accept power, and the usb C port doesn't seem to work for data communication. I won't directly blame the adapter for the lack of data connection, as it could be the program I'm using, but it works with a direct data cable so I'm not sure. Either way, it does function in a more normal use case, with a set of wired headphones plugged in and charging at the same time there are no issues.

This OTG adapter is quite flexible in the many devices that can be connected to it. It is bus-powered and has a small blue LED to indicate that it is receiving power. What sets this adapter apart are the dual plugs available - depending on whether one needs to connect to a USB-C port or an Apple Lightning port - making it useful for both older and newer Apple devices and others. The jacks are comprised of a standard USB jack, a USB-C jack and a 3.5mm headphone jack, making it ideal for listening to music etc. through wired headphones without tying up the USB-C port (such as on an iPad); making it available for additional devices such as a flash drive or other USB device. In this way, it is really like a hub, allowing multiple devices to connect at the same time. If you need the most flexible option without a lot of USB ports as found on a hub, look no further.

As much as I like my iPhone, one of the pains is the lightning connector (now deceased thanks to complaints from Europe). This adapter has an excellent combination of plugs and ports to communicate with other devices. The USB OTG socket allows downloads and uploads from thumb drives and my camcorder. The headphone jack works with my old iPod earphones.

Out of the box, the headphone jack did not work with multiple sets of headphones. Returned.

Needs a compatibility list with phones.

When it works it’s great, but it doesn’t always work. Plug it in, with headphones, but the audio still plays out the iPad; plug it in to charge, doesn’t charge. I find just unplug and plug it back in until it works.

Whilst not a genuine Apple original cable adaptor, this is a really great one.I'm a musician, and part of my setup uses my iPhone and iPad, so this cable adapter is a really useful solution to my needs, since the audio connections have sadly been taken out of current iPads and iPhones.I've used this every day this week, and it's working just perfectly, and for a fraction of a price of the Apple version.Recommended.

I don't think I've seen similar peripherals that have both a lightning and a USB-C connection, so it's nice to see that this is basically everything you'd ever need (unless you're unlucky enough to have a device with a micro USB device).This is the perfect peripheral device for charging your phone as well as listening to music as it has a 3.5mm jack for headphones, a USB-A slot and USB-C slot. So I can charge my iPhone 15 pro while listening to music with my wired headphones AND can even use a USB stick to transfer data, what's not to like?My only criticism is that this is a little on the bulky side, and I have found it to get a little warmer than I'd like, but not warm enough to cause serious concern. Seems to be compatible with my iPhone 15 Pro and my older iPhone 14 Pro all connections work like a charm.I haven't tried using both lightning and USB-C at once, but I doubt this is possible.Overall I'd strongly recommend!4/5 - Great Product!

Many of us have Apple devices of varying generations and therefore connections.This adapter has connections into lightning and USBC devices. Adapting to USBC, Lightning and headphone jack.This is perfect for me - I have a work phone with lightning and a personal phone and ipad which are USBC, I also have wired Bose headphones which I find comfortable for long haul - and connect to airline entertainment systems, I can now move around my devices with just this one adapter. It's not cheap but I've found that it works well, and there aren't too many of these kinds of adapters around.
