Review of: "Anatomy, Descriptive and Surgical, 1901 Edition," by Henry Gray  (Author), T. Pickering Pick  (Author), Robert Howden  (Author).This is the standard and is the American classic.  It is unabridged.  The publisher specifications list: "Paperback: 1257 pages. Publisher: Running Press (May 22, 1974). Language: English. ISBN-10: 0914294083. ISBN-13: 978-0914294085. Product Dimensions: 5.4 x 2.5 x 8.5 inches. Shipping Weight: 3.1 pounds."This tome is massive and at 1257 pages includes 827 illustrations.  For medical school use, physiology, martial arts, physical training, artistic applications and knowledge, etc.  The list goes on and on as to who and why this can and should be used.  It should be on every home and library bookshelf.  Well done at five stars.

Had the slip case edition, was looking for a more professional, sophisticated edition, read reviews and was lead to this 1973 edition. Was not disappointed!  Beautiful binding, photos are extraordinary,  even had an inscription on the front page that gave me some pride in knowing this book had history. "R.A. Morga, CRNA St Francis Hospital Marceline, Mo. 6465-8"  I had purchased for reference to keep for a lifetime and maybe pass down to future generations, and this will certainly be a great piece to do just that.
