This is a perfect heating unit - not just for necks & shoulders. I used it on my over-worked typing arm and WALLAH - it remedied the soreness in a jiffy. I am so happy I chose this one out of all the options that were available to me..

heat area too short
The item is not the correct length. The measurements include the 2 straps, the heating pad is only 22" & with straps 32". Disappointed in the length of the actual heating area. I wish it was longer but I love the quality & the oder is great!!

Comfortable and effective
This is a very effective neck wrap. The fabric is soft and comfortable, and it heats uniformly in the microwave. I gave one as a gift and then purchased one for myself.
