A friend of mine has 3 of these for home security. I don't have internet so this does the job pretty damn good. I get notifications pretty quick depending on where I am with my phone but pictures are great and the plans for the cellular options aren't too bad. Cheaper than Internet.

This version of the Tactacam is great! It takes very clear pictures. We use it as a security camera for our house and it is very dependable.

Simple setup and great picture

Worked great and passed the return time on 9/28/24 and it doesn't work. Now I'm just out the money. Don't waste your money.

Tactacam makes the best cellular trail cams hands down. I own eight of their cameras and these new ones are spectacular. I didn't think their cameras could get any better and they have showed me yet again that they keep stepping up their game. I will always remain a customer of theirs because their cameras are awesome and their plans for the cameras are reasonably priced. They also have great customer service and are just a great company all around. If you're in the market for cellular trail cams these will not let you down.

It is easy to set up and navigate through the menu. Takes great pics and video. Sensitivity needs to be set lower than 5 or you get squirrels. LOL.

Im new to cell cams, this connects easier to network than then pro for Verizon, support is nice to be able to call, app works good. I wish , for all the reveal cam, you could have it automatically send videos instead of requesting each one. I’ve noticed as well if you request to many 2-4 at a time it won’t send all of them and you can’t request again. You have to request one, wait for it to come then request another.This review isn’t based on the above tho. It’s becauseI can clearly see on the camera the glow red lights. It’s supposed to be no glo. Support to this point as not been able to explain this to me. I bought 7 and all I have checked have the same issue.Second, 1 out of 7 came defective.Third, the GPS function does not work. Thats a sweet feature! Worked fine in older model. No fix yet, just we are working on the issue.Happy to update review if these get resolved

So when I got this camera I tested it out around the house. I’ve owned 6 older versions of the tacticam cell cams. Ive even traded a couple in and upgraded. So this aint my first rodeo with tacticams. Everything worked great until about a month later I decided to put the cams out for deer. Out of all my cameras, 5, that I put out this new one was only one that didn’t work. In the app it says “firmware” update ( then says I dont have enough service to update it. So now I’m 2 hours from the cam, waisted trip, waisted trip back to pick up camera and then I have to drive somewhere with “better” service to update the cam. It’s still in the woods waisting my time. Not happy Tacticam. Sad the older versions are more reliable.
